Try entering heaven after having disrespected God’s Word.

Deuteronomy 4:2 “You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.”

This is the voice of our creator speaking to His Children, telling them that he requires them to obey the Commandments he has handed down, that is their part of The covenant agreement He has entered into with them, and His motive for bringing them out of bondage in Egypt.

These are the commandments God handed down:

Deuteronomy 5:6 ‘I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
7 ‘You shall have no other gods before Me.
8 ‘You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;
9 you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,
10 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
11 ‘You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
12 ‘Observe the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, as the Lord your God commanded you.
13 Six days you shall labor and do all your work,
14 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your ox, nor your donkey, nor any of your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates, that your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you.
15 And remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God brought you out from there by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm; therefore, the Lord your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.
16 ‘Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you, that your days may be long, and that it may be well with you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
17    ‘You shall not murder.
18    ‘You shall not commit adultery.
19    ‘You shall not steal.
20    ‘You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
21    ‘You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife; and you shall not desire your neighbor’s house, his field, his male servant, his female servant, his ox, his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor’s.’

Nowhere can we find in the scriptures that he changed them! And what’s more, He sent His only Son into this world to keep them as an example to the people of God, and then to die for their sins to be forgiven. Had he not kept God’s Word faithfully, there would be no propitiation for our sins. For the Lamb of God had to be without blemish.

But now we have so-called ministers of the gospel of Christ telling us that God changed His Sabbath, and that we don’t have to obey these Commandments, which are the Word of God and the basis for everything the Word of God says from here forward.

They imply this and that, but cannot even in the smallest way demonstrate to us that God changed His 4th Commandment, The Sabbath. There is no such Statement anywhere in the Word of God.

But there is this:

Deuteronomy 4:2 “You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.”

We have done anything to avoid the keeping of YHWH God’s Word. So here is what has resulted! The loss of His blessings. Starvation, famine, disease, disasters after disasters, wars, and killing of even unborn children. Unbelief abounds, and why do we not believe?

Could it be that people know in their Spirit that they have been lied to, by these false teachers? And where do we go for the truth?

Once I discovered that I could not find anyone who could teach me the truth, I prayed to Yahshua, and asked Him to be my teacher. And what you see in my messages are a product of His faithfulness to that prayer. He is my teacher, and what I am telling you. Is the result of what He has done in my life.

“If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”  (John 7:37, 38)

Now, you don’t have to believe me, but you must believe Him, if you want to be a part of His Kingdom.

Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice LAWLESSNESS!’

Try entering heaven after having disrespecting God’s Word, and turned away from His Commandments. Even transgressing one of them deliberately, will be the equivalent of violating all of them.

James 2:10 For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.
11For He who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.” Now if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.

So, violating the 4th Commandment without repentance, makes us as if we never knew God’s Commandments. We are lawless, for all intents and purposes.

And he will do just as he said he would, in Matthew 7:23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice LAWLESSNESS!’

Do we really want to wait until he comes to Judge us, to find out if what He says is true?

Or would we rather submit to Him, and Keep His Word, honoring the Father’s commandments, just as he did.

1st John 2:4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.
6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.

Shalom my friends,

Chuck Greever
