The Word of God is truth from beginning to end.

Deuteronomy 4:2 “You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.”

Here is one of my all-time favorite scriptures. Because is gives us an absolutely clear and vivid picture of God’s will for His chosen people.

Apparently, our Elohim does not want to have us change His Commandments, in any way. We may neither take anything away from them, nor add anything to them.

For instance, look at what we have done to His fourth Commandment. In it we have both taken away from it, and we have added to it.

For we are commanded thus, “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates.
For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore, the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.
(Exodus 20:8-11)

Cancelling YHVH God’s Sabbath is taking away from it, is it not? And adding a day that God has not ordained as a Sabbath, is adding to His Commandments, I do believe.

And consider now, where that Sunday Sabbath came from. It was the practice of Pagans to gather on Sunday. And why, is explained by the fact that they worshipped the Sun god, on Sun day.

And at the time this was done, the Roman Catholic Church was bringing as many Pagans into the church as they could, so they added and changed several things, in order to accommodate them. In other words, they compromised the Word of YHVH God.

But still the scriptures repeat this warning, “When the Lord your God cuts off from before you the nations which you go to dispossess, and you displace them and dwell in their land, take heed to yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying, ‘How did these nations serve their gods? I also will do likewise.’
You shall not worship the Lord your God in that way; for every abomination to the Lord which He hates they have done to their gods; for they burn even their sons and daughters in the fire to their gods.
“Whatever I command you, be careful to observe it; you shall not add to it nor take away from it.”
(Deuteronomy 12:29-31)

Clearly when YHVH God repeats Himself, He wants us to hear Him, and take His Word to heart, thus avoiding idolatry.

I have had people actually say to me that these Commandments are just for Jews. But if that was true, why are we worshipping the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of the Jews? Or are We?

If I am right, by following the scriptures, rather than the traditions of men, I know therefore, what is going to take place at the time of Judgment. I believe it will be eternal death for those who have done these things, rather than the eternal life that they believe is their reward.

The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness
and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
(Matthew 13:41-43)

I am very sorry to have to be the one who has been called to bring this news, but if we had studied our Bible, it would not have been necessary to have someone come and tell us. For had we studied, we would have known this from the beginning.

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2nd Timothy 2:15)

I believe that those who speak against the Law of God, they know in their own heart, that it’s there for their own good.

The Apostle Paul said, “What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.” (Romans 7:7)

And why else was Y’shua Christ so insistent about our keeping the commandments?

17“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.
18For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.
19Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
20For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.
(Matthew 5:17-20)

How else will we achieve the righteousness that he speaks of without the Commandments?

7Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous.
8He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning.
(1st John 3:7, 8)

We must know that when the end of days comes, we will be judged according to The Commandments of YHVH God. And in the book of revelation, we are told How that will end.

14Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
15But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.
(Revelation 22:14, 15)

In the very last chapter of the Bible, we find the final judgment. Those who have kept the Commandments are to enter the Kingdom, but those who have not, are left outside looking in, because they have believed the lie, and walked accordingly.

A sad picture indeed, especially when so little is required of us to prevent such an outcome.

It will be in the end, just as Y’shua said, “Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear! (Matthew 13:43)

When Judgment comes we need to know that we were warned over and over again, by the prophets, by the very Word of God Himself, remember what Y,shua said to us in Matthew 7:21-23. He said, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
22Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
23And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!

Obviously, He is speaking to people who think they are praising and worshipping Him, but are not willing to walk according to the will of God. They call Him Lord, Lord. But Here’s where they went astray, because they have avoided the keeping of God’s commandments, their savior turns away from them. Their lawlessness has kept them from that close relationship that is required in order to be among His sheep.

What a sad picture He draws, with regard to these people who have convinced themselves that they belong to Him. to hear from the God, they Worship that they have neglected the very thing that would bring them near to Him.

Lawlessness is their undoing, according to the one whom they call Lord, Lord.

“‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’”

Let’s not come to Him this way, but rather, let’s return to the covenant and keep the Commandments of Yahovah God.

If we are indeed His, let’s begin to act accordingly.

Thus, he says, “If you love me keep my commandments.” (John 14:15)

Shalom my friends,
