Genesis 3:8 And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.
9 Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?”
10 So he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.”
11 And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?”
12 Then the man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.”
13 And the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”
14 So the Lord God said to the serpent: “Because you have done this, you are cursed more than all cattle, and more than every beast of the field; on your belly you shall go, and you shall eat dust all the days of your life.
15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.”
16 To the woman He said: “I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception; In pain you shall bring forth children; Your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.”
17 Then to Adam He said, “Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat of it’:
“Cursed is the ground for your sake; In toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life.
18 Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you, and you shall eat the herb of the field.
19 In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for dust you are, and to dust you shall return.”
20 And Adam called his wife’s name Eve, because she was the mother of all living.
21 Also for Adam and his wife the Lord God made tunics of skin, and clothed them.
Here we see the beginning of all things, and clearly, we see that YHVH God is angry that the two humans that He had created, were unable to resist the temptation of Satan and disobeyed their creator’s instructions. Thus, they broke covenant with YHVH God. Here is why God is so angry that he curses them. And removes them from His Garden in Eden. No longer will He stroll with Adam in the Garden in the mornings. God must have been lonely after this event!
And Adam and Eve had to adjust to being outcasts, because they simply did not obey the creator of the universe and everything in it.
But apparently, they still had a relationship with God, They were blessed with children, They still were able to eat, and have a home. They multiplied so that all of us came out of their Gene pool.
And they lived long lives. So, all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years; and he died. (Genesis 5:5)
Then came Noah, and the flood took away all but those on the Ark, Noah’s family.
So that Noah and His family lived, but the rest of mankind was dead. And we find that Noah kept God’s word, but the rest of the world did not.
And the Lord said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation. (Genesis 7:1)
Again, righteousness comes into play, Keeping God’s Word is righteousness. 9This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God. (Genesis 6:9)
So YHVH God is still looking for men who will walk with Him, learn His ways, and obey God. And when Abram Left with His father to go to the land of Canaan. YHVH God spoke to Him.
God said, “Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you.
2 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing.
3 I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” (Genesis 12:1-3)
Yah is still on the hunt for men who will obey Him. And He surely found one in Abraham.
When Abraham died, He spoke to his son, Isaac and said, 3Dwell in this land, and I will be with you and bless you; for to you and your descendants I give all these lands, and I will perform the oath which I swore to Abraham your father.
4And I will make your descendants multiply as the stars of heaven; I will give to your descendants all these lands; and in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed;
5because Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.”
God will bless Isaac, because His father Abraham, kept The Commandments of YHVH God. So now YHVH God is making some real progress, but wants to redeem His people, because they love and obey their maker. So clearly, He blesses those who keep His Commandments, and obey His Word, but curses those who don’t.
Jacob is Isaac’s offspring, and Joseph is from Jacob, and then comes the 12 Son’s of Joseph, who is now named Israel, thus we come to the children of Israel. And YHVH God blesses them by extracting them from bondage in Egypt. He brought them out, and what does He do?
He gives them His law!
“Now this is the commandment, and these are the statutes and judgments which the Lord your God has commanded to teach you, that you may observe them in the land which you are crossing over to possess, that you may fear the Lord your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you, you and your son and your grandson, all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged.
Therefore hear, O Israel, and be careful to observe it, that it may be well with you, and that you may multiply greatly as the Lord God of your fathers has promised you— ‘a land flowing with milk and honey.’” (Deuteronomy 6:1-3)
So. a great blessing is about to be bestowed on this nation of tribes, but only if they obey YHVH God.
And so that we know the importance of keeping covenant with YHVH God, here is what he tells them after giving them His law written in stone.
He says, “Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse: the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you today; and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known.” (Deuteronomy 11:26-28)
God warns them, what will happen if they do not keep these promises. They are blessed if they do, but cursed if they don’t.
And today, what do we have, but an entire world of people who think that violating God’s Word, the Covenant given at Sinai, can be brushed aside so that they can do as they please, and still be blessed of God.
“For I am the Lord, I do not change.” (Malachi 3:6)
No matter what anyone says, there’s no amount of grace that can change what God has said, and does. Thus, we have people who have tried to separate the Old and New Testament for that purpose, saying, “That’s just for the Jews,” nonsense!
And Christ Y’shua would never offer to change what His Father has said. There is but one Word of God, and he is the living expression of it!
Y’shua Christ said, 17“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.
18For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.
19Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
20For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:17-20)
He intends to fully teach and exemplify the Law in His life, which He did. And if there will be no change in it as long as Heaven and Earth are here, How is it that the Law is done away with?
And why would He be teaching His law to the nations when He comes into His Millennial reign. Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the Y’shua’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it.
3 Many people shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. (Isaiah 2:2, 3)
While no Prophet ever said that the Law will be abolished, the greatest of all Prophets tells us the exact opposite, and The Messiah Himself, expressed the same exact sentiment in Matthew 5, The Beatitudes.
Let’s get real here, If we want God’s blessing on our lives, we need to change our ways, and return to His Covenant. Those who resist still, will have to consider the consequences of their rebellion, for there’s no other word for it!
Now, brethren, concerning the coming of Y’shua / Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come.
Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. (2nd Thessalonians 2:1-4)
The Lawless one, if we’re following this one, we needn’t concern ourselves with Heaven. But if our heart is in the right place, it’s not too late to repent and walk away from these false teacher’s.
Y’shua is coming, and so many are not yet ready to receive their King, who will Judge according to YHVH God’s Law.
Please prepare yourself, make yourself ready to come before Him!
He is Coming!
Shalom my friends,
