The Keys to the Kingdom.

1st John 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but indeed and in truth.
19 And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him.
20 For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.
21 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God.
22 And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.
23 And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.
24 Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

Many of us learned from experience to not listen so much to what others say, even if they say, “I love you.” But we believe them by what they do, by their actions. It is in our deeds, the things we do that show that we really care, and that love is in the mix of the way that we relate to one another.

Actions speak louder than words!

And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him.  (Vs 19)

How often have we heard someone say, “God knows my heart!” to be sure he knows the truth about us!

For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.
Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. (Vs 20, 21)

If our love for Him is true in His eyes then all is well, and we can lean on that truth.

And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.  (Vs 22)

Here is where prayers are answered, doors are opened and blessing upon blessing becomes a reality in our lives. Simply because we love our Elohim and live to please Him.

Deuteronomy 11:26 “Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse:
27 the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you today;
28 and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known.

The Father knows that if we don’t love Him, we are loving some other god. And of course, he knows this because He see what we do, or what we have failed to do. If we don’t love Him enough to keep His Word then we have become in His eyes Idolators.

Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us. (Vs 24)

Here the Apostle John who is the one described by Yahushua Himself as the one who loved Him the most.  It is He who is telling us that our keeping His Commandments is what actually brings us into His body. Here is how we must abide In Christ Yahushua!

And why he said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” (John 14:15)

So many times I have heard it preached from a pulpit that God loves us, but seldom if ever are we told how to love God.

Can we love Him as He desires us to love Him? I certainly hope and pray that we can and will.

Here are the keys to the Kingdom of Elohim!

Shalom my friends,

Chuck Greever

  1. Since I have been lead to Torah it is as if an awakening has transpired in my soul. A new level of spirituality has taken my faith to be strengthened by His Word. I see things in scripture that I was not shown before now and in my heart of hearts there is no other source besides the love info faithfulness of Yahweh that has caused these things to happen. TORAH is a Heavenly key that unlocks a realm unknown to most.. It has reassured my love for Him as well as caused it to grow! HalleluYah!!
