Payday is coming!

James 2:8 If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well;
9 but if you show partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by the law as transgressors.
10 For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.
11 For He who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.” Now if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.
12 So speak and so do as those who will be judged by the law of liberty.
13 For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

Remember that Yahshua said, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 22:37-40)

Here we find that all of the commandments are encompassed by these two. So, if we commit murder, or adultery, which one of these two commandments have we broken?

It would seem that we did not love our neighbor as ourselves, if we have murdered, Amen?

If we bow down to idols, like money, or property, or a Christmas tree, have we loved God with all of our being? And if we violate His Ordained Sabbath day, is that because we love Him with all of our Heart? I think not, but instead we have shown the Creator our distain for Him. Surely, if we have transgressed one commandment, we are indeed guilty of all.

If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well; but if you show partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by the law as transgressors.

For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.
11 For He who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.” Now if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.  (Vs 8-11)

We need to understand the repercussions of violating God’s Royal Law! Having failed to love Him, or love our neighbor, will result in a judgment that will keep us from entering His Kingdom.

The Apostle John tells us citing Yahshua, “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”
Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie. (Revelation 22:12-15)

He is saying that there’s a reward that is going to accompany the judgment of Yahshua Christ, that will be based on our works. He will come in a flash and that judgment will be upon us, and there will be no more time for repentance!

He says that those who have kept the Commandments of God will be invited to enter the Holy City, but those who have transgressed, will be kept out of the Kingdom of Heaven.

We are making a statement before a just and Holy God, when we break His Commandments, that we neither love Him, nor others. And because we are self-centered, we have made it evident that we belong together with “dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.”

What lie is it that we have loved and believed?

Why it is the same lie that Satan has been telling us since Adam and Eve, in the Garden of Eden. That lie says, that we do not have to obey God. Have we loved that lie? And have we believed Satan? Absolutely!

We have done as we pleased, and ignored what God has said. We have led a lifetime of sin, because we didn’t take the Word of God seriously, and practiced Lawlessness.

Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. (1 John 3:4)

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

Now He’s coming, and judgment is coming with Him. it will be upon us before we know it, and are we prepared to receive our King? Most of us are not!

He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. (Revelation 19:13)

That blood, is the blood of those who have transgressed His Law.

Yah help us to repent and change before this takes place.

Shalom my friends,

Chuck Greever

  1. I have read this many times and yet, I feel that oyr Heavenly Father says repent and be saved Yet if the repentance was not real to begin with then we would still sin but if we truly repented we would watch every word we say and everything we do. Thank you for sharing God’s word, Love you..

  2. Oh Chuck I am dismayed at reading your post today. You are totally preaching works salvation. I cannot abide this teaching. Christ came as a man, lived a perfect sinless life, sacrificed himself for the atonemment of all Mens sins that would trust and believe, He arose as proof of His Fathers acceptance, and applies His grace to my life. I cannot attain and live the law. Not today even, with His Spirit within me. I am totally and desperately dependent upon Him.
He is changing me. He is growing me. He is strengthening me. Yet not for my salvation (justification) but for my sanctification. Brother I love you, but my works are evidence of my salvation not my way towards a relationship with Christ.

  3. Whit, you have double talked, and you have rendered the Father’s Spirit as powerless to make you into a new creation. I’m sorry but you don’t love the Father and you have declared His blood as unclean/not enough, and if you ended up in the hands of the Living Elohim, it would be a very FEARFUL thing for you! (Heb 10:29-31) He wants to strengthen, grow and change you exactly for the purposes of salvation AND sanctification. What sin is it that you just HAVE to hold onto and repeatedly commit? REPENT! And beg the Father for a clean heart and to renew a steadfast spirit within you. (Psalm 51:10) Beg Him not to cast you out of His presence, nor take His Holy Spirit from you. Father will save you through His Son by grace through faith, not of your own works, do you cannot boast, but don’t forget that you are created to do the works He gave us to work beforehand, so that we would walk in them. (Ephesians 2:8-10)

If you call yourself a child of Abraham, then DO THE DEEDS of Abraham. (John 8:39) Be a DOER of the word, not a hearer only deceiving yourself. (James 1:22) Pure and undefiled religion is to keep yourself unspotted from the world and to visit the orphans and take care of widows. (James 1:26,27)
Faith without WORKS is DEAD! (Check out James 2:22-26)

“And to the messenger of the assembly in Thyatira write, ‘This says the Son of Elohim, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like burnished brass: “I KNOW YOUR WORKS, and love, and service, and belief, and your endurance. And AS FOR YOUR WORKS, the last are more than the first. “But I hold against you that you allow that woman Izeḇel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and lead My servants astray to commit whoring and to eat food offered to idols. “And I gave her time to repent of her whoring, and she did not repent. “See, I am throwing her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great affliction, unless they repent of their works. “And I shall slay her children with death. And all the assemblies shall know that I am the One searching the kidneys and hearts. And I shall give to each one of you ACCORDING TO YOUR WORKS. “And to you I say, and to the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not possess this teaching, and who have not known the depths of Satan, as they call them, I am not putting on you another burden. “But hold fast what you have until I come. “And he who overcomes, and guards My works until the end, to him I shall give authority over the nations, and he shall shepherd them with a rod of iron, as the potter’s vessels shall be broken to pieces, as I also have received from My Father. “And I shall give him the morning star. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.” ’

“And to the messenger of the assembly in Sardis write, ‘He who has the seven Spirits of Elohim and the seven stars, says this, “I KNOW YOUR WORKS, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. “Wake up, and strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I HAVE NOT FOUND YOUR WORKS COMPLETE BEFORE ELOHIM. “Remember, then, how you have received, and heard. And watch and REPENT. If, then, you do not wake up, I shall come upon you AS A THIEF, and you shall not know at all what hour I come upon you. “Nevertheless, you have a few names in Sardis who have not defiled their garments. And they shall walk with Me in white, because they are worthy. “He who overcomes shall be dressed in white robes, and I shall by no means blot out his name from the Book of Life, but I shall confess his name before My Father and before His messengers.
