Returning to the Acts 2 Church!

Acts 2:40 And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.”
41 Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.
42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.
43 Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.
44 Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common,
45 and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need.
46 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,
47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.

Whatever happened to the church as it was in Acts Chapter two?

Peter having been filled with the Holy Spirit preached to Jews who came all over the Roman Empire. He preached to thousands on the day of Shavout / Pentecost, and about 3 thousand came to Christ that day.

saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.”
Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.
(Vs 40, 41)

The Apostles must have been busy that day, Baptizing three thousand at a time. But following that day, others would come and they continued to follow the Apostles teaching and their doctrine. Thus, the Church of Christ began and continued to grow. And most of them were natives of Israel, so they kept the Sabbath just as YHWH God ordained it, they also gathered at the appointed time, and ate clean foods. Just like any other Jew, they believed in Messiah and kept the Commandments according to the scriptures, and the doctrine of the Apostles.

Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.
(Vs 43)

It was as if Christ Himself was among them, miracles, wonders, and signs were done through the apostles, notice that it doesn’t say by the apostles, but through them. The Holy Spirit of Christ brought power into the church through those whom Yahshua / Jesus had hand-picked. Notice also that these were men who were not trained as priests, but were ordinary men, whom Christ had taught by the Holy Spirit all that they needed to know.

John 14:25 “These things I have spoken to you while being present with you.
26But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

Just as he had promised, the Holy Spirit was the backbone of the leadership in this Church. This could not be found in synagogues, no even in the Temple itself, but among this simple assembly of believers the Spirit led and guided everything this Church did.

Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common,
and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need.
(Vs 44-45)

These people came together as a body to manifest Christ, and no other.

They shared everything in common, and even sold off their personal possessions, so that no one lacked what they needed. And this is the way they came together as brothers and sisters, holding no one at arm’s length. This is what true fellowship is!

So, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, (Vs 46)

They had no church building, but met in homes, going from house to house. They ate together, and they were filled with a simplicity of heart. These people were happy to be together, for by the Spirit they knew where they belonged. Truly the kingdom had come to rest on these first Christians / Messianics.

praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved. (Vs 47)

This church was growing daily, and it was because Christ brought them into the church, His presence among His people created a persona that was attracting others, it wasn’t Peter, or any other personality that created this environment of holiness, but the presence of the Holy Spirit among the people whom Christ had called and set apart.

This is the only basis for revival, and the only way to build a church that will withstand the trials that are coming.

I have been a part of so many churches that were crying out for a return to the Acts 2 Church, but it could not happen because of selfishness, and pride. That coupled with the fact that we Have been following the doctrine of a corrupt Roman Catholic Church since before 321 AD. Most of us have no understanding of what it means to be filled with the Holy Spirit, because we do not know what was lost to us so many years ago, and we are not willing to learn.

So here is why I am constantly trying to call us back to the Way, the Truth, and the Life of Christ. Until we fit His likeness, and walk in His Ways, we will not be able to return to His Church, and the Holy Spirit may be an influence on us, but continue to hold us at arm’s length.

Learn to walk according to the Commandments of God and then perhaps we’ll draw near to the Kingdom of Elohim.

For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?
And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?
And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God.
(1st Corinthians 6:14-16)

‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Return to Me,” says the Lord of hosts, “and I will return to you,” (Zachariah 1:3)

Shalom my friends,

Chuck Greever

We of our own free will, have chosen our future!

Deuteronomy 28:1 “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.
2 And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God:
3 “Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.
4 “Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.
5 “Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.
6 “Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.
7“The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.
8 “The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
9 “The Lord will establish you as a holy people to Himself, just as He has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in His ways.
10 Then all peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you.
11 And the Lord will grant you plenty of goods, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your ground, in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you.
12 The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.
13 And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.
14 So you shall not turn aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right or the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

Every time YHWH God’s wrath came upon the people of God it was because of their failure to obey Him and Keep His Commandments. And just as He promises blessings, He has also promised curses to those who believe not, and are faithful not.

Just as he said he would do, When He said, “Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse:
the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you today;
and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known. (Deuteronomy 11:26-28)

There are curses for our disobedience and in this world. We have witnessed many of them, and the father we withdraw from our maker, the more we will see.

15 “But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:
16 “Cursed shall you be in the city, and cursed shall you be in the country.
17 “Cursed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.
18 “Cursed shall be the fruit of your body and the produce of your land, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.
19 “Cursed shall you be when you come in, and cursed shall you be when you go out.
20 “The Lord will send on you cursing, confusion, and rebuke in all that you set your hand to do, until you are destroyed and until you perish quickly, because of the wickedness of your doings in which you have forsaken Me.
21 The Lord will make the plague cling to you until He has consumed you from the land which you are going to possess.
22 The Lord will strike you with consumption, with fever, with inflammation, with severe burning fever, with the sword, with scorching, and with mildew; they shall pursue you until you perish.
23 And your heavens which are over your head shall be bronze, and the earth which is under you shall be iron.
24 The Lord will change the rain of your land to powder and dust; from the heaven it shall come down on you until you are destroyed.
25 “The Lord will cause you to be defeated before your enemies; you shall go out one way against them and flee seven ways before them; and you shall become troublesome to all the kingdoms of the earth.
26 Your carcasses shall be food for all the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth, and no one shall frighten them away.
27 The Lord will strike you with the boils of Egypt, with tumors, with the scab, and with the itch, from which you cannot be healed.
28 The Lord will strike you with madness and blindness and confusion of heart.
29 And you shall grope at noonday, as a blind man gropes in darkness; you shall not prosper in your ways; you shall be only oppressed and plundered continually, and no one shall save you
. (Deuteronomy 28:15-29)

Now let’s talk about the babies we have killed, and the 10 Commandments being removed from public places, prayer being obstructed, and the closing of places of worship. Let’s also talk about the forest fires, public killings, school shootings, pandemics, floods and Tornadoes, and Hurricanes. We can also speak of economic failures, Joblessness, homelessness, and starvation in America, along with the arrival of socialism, and laws that are unconstitutional.

Yes, the God of this nation demands our attention, and a return to His ways, or He will curse us into damnation. American and other nations also need to see themselves from YHWH God’s point of view. And correct their courses.

This is the only way that we can have a course correction, for our misfortune will continue, and be magnified until we turn back. Therefore, repentance and a return to true worship is required.

Watch and see if God’s Word is true! Examine yourselves and be counted as a part of His remnant, be an observer of His work rather than a victim of our disobedience.

2nd Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Yahshua / Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.

Shalom my friends,

Who in the world would love a lie?

Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.
28 Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?
30 For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge His people.”
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Do we sin willfully? If so, there is no means of grace for this kind of sin.

For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. (Vs 26, 27)

While it’s very difficult to imagine a loving Savior, who is indignant toward those of us who have violated His Commandments and did so without thought of repentance. We need to understand the role of a judge!

For when He comes, He will judge according to the Commandments just as they were given to the children of Israel at Sinai. And the Ten Commandments are the basis for all of the others.

And they are as follows:

Exodus 20:2 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 “You shall have no other gods before Me.
4 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;
5 you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,
6 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
7 “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work,
10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates.
11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore, the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.
12 “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
13 “You shall not murder.
14 “You shall not commit adultery.
15 “You shall not steal.
16 “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
17 “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”

These are basic to the walk that He taught and demonstrated to us, and if we abide in Christ then we too will keep these 10 simple Commandments.

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor £homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. (1st Corinthians 6:9, 10)

The unrighteous will not enter the Kingdom of Elohim. So, let’s look at the example He lived, and what He taught when He walked this earth 2000+ years ago. He Never lied, or stole, nor would He lust, He would not covet, but kept His peace with all men, honoring His mother and His Holy Father. He kept the Sabbath and the feasts, His Father’s appointed times. He would never have eaten pork, or any other unclean thing. He lived according to the Torah, and because he was an obedient Son of the most-high Elohim, He was obedient to the death.

Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? (Vs 28, 29)

The Apostle John says the same thing but in a different way, speaking of those who say they abide in Christ, but don’t keep The Commandments He kept.

He said, “Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.
He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.
He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.”
(1st John 2:3-6)

So, you who lie, cheat, steal, lust, and do not repent, you are not abiding in Christ. And if you are not keeping the Sabbath as YHWH God commanded, you’re no different. That is also a commandment, and breaking it is no less a sin as any of the others, murder and adultery included.

We are assured of true Justice according to our deeds or lack of them in the very last chapter of the Bible. Listen to the very last words from the last of the living apostles.

The Apostle John says, “Blessed are those who do (Keep) His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.”
(Rev. 22:14, 15)

Look at who enters heaven, those who have kept the Commandments of God. And look now at verse 15, those who are left outside of the kingdom, and the ones who have been sexually immoral, haters and murderers, and those who have bowed down to other gods.

But then He says, “whoever loves and practices a lie.” What lies have we loved?

  1. The lie of once saved always saved.
  2. The lie that the Commandments are abolished by Christ Himself.
  3. The lie that the Sabbath was changed.
  4. The lie that it makes no difference what we eat.
  5. The lie that we don’t need to be righteous, because Christ was righteous for us.

There are many such lies, most of which were born out of Roman Catholicism.  We worship the Idols of Christmas, Easter, and many other Pagan rites, because we have loved the lies, that have prevented us from being anything like the Christ we profess.

I would be afraid of what may happen to me and my brethren, very afraid.

For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge His people.”
It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
(Vs 30, 31)

We need to understand that when He said, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
22Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” (Matthew 7:23)

He was speaking prophetically about the time of Judgment, and now that time is on our doorstep!

Consider that it may be time to repent and change our ways, before it’s no longer possible!

Shalom my friends,

Chuck Greever

Do we know who sanctifies Us?

Exodus 31:12 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
13 “Speak also to the children of Israel, saying: ‘Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies you.
14 You shall keep the Sabbath, therefore, for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from among his people.
15 Work shall be done for six days, but the seventh is the Sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
16 Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant.
17 It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel forever; for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’”

YHWH God wanted to be sure that the people of God knew that to violate His Holy Sabbath is a death sentence. So, YHWH makes it a point, to speak to Moses about it.

He said, “‘Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies you.” (Vs 13)

Keeping His Sabbath is a sign, an identifying Mark on His people, that we not only belong to Him, but we walk according to His ways. This is how He sets us apart from other nations and other religions. And to disobey this ordinance in His eyes, is a sin no different than adultery, or murder, and is worthy of death.

“You shall keep the Sabbath, therefore, for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from among his people.” (Vs 14)

This person cannot remain a part of the Assembly, and is marked for death.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

So many of us go to Worship on Sunday with the people of our Churches, and that’s just fine, but that does not relieve us from the fact that we have sinned, and have not repented of it. And many will say, we have honored Him on a day of our choosing, and all days are Holy. But what we fail to understand is that He sanctifies us, not the other way around. We don’t sanctify God, how would that even be possible?

He declares the 7th day a day of rest, not just worship. On this day we do no work. No dishes are washed, no cooking, no buying or selling, and no grass mowing. The Sabbath is a day set aside for rest, just as it was in Genesis.

Thus, the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished.
And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.
Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made. (Genesis 2:1-3)

So even if we live a life of worship, glorifying YHWH God, and do not rest on the Sabbath, the 7th day, then we have transgressed the commandment, and entire Churches who are calling on His name, are in sin, and slated for death, even before the judgment comes.

Therefore, Christ has labeled them Lawless. He said, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice LAWLESSNESS
!’” (Matthew 7:21-23)

A Lawless person is someone who denies God’s Law, and operates on their own version of righteousness. And this seems to we what we have today. Many of us are operating under our own sense of right and wrong, rather than following God’s commandments, and we have been led to do this by people who have been planted by Satan, to lead us away from salvation.

God says, “Work shall be done for six days, but the seventh is the Sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord.
(Vs 15-17)

But what we have done is in direct contradiction of God’s Word.

The prophet Ezekiel speaks for God, when He says, “Her priests have violated My law and profaned My holy things; they have not distinguished between the holy and unholy, nor have they made known the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they have hidden their eyes from My Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them. (Ezekiel 22:26)

I know that many of us will refuse to hear this Word, but understand that people who are deceived don’t know that they are under the influence of the Father of lies, because they have been thoroughly deceived.

But those who love God will Keep His Commandments.

And Christ said repeatedly, “He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” (John 14:21)

Those who are shunning God’s Commandments because of the deception may finally Repent and change their ways, but I believe the larger number will not come out from under the influence of the Lawless one, (Anti-Christ) and will reject God’s plea.

Thus, “Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” (Matthew 7:14)

Have we not been warned? For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.
And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.
The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
And for this reason, God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
(2nd Thessalonians 7-12)

At the very least, one thing we can glean from this writing is that we can’t say we weren’t warned!

Shalom my friends,

Chuck Greever

We must adapt to YHWH God, for he will not adapt to us!

Malachi 3:6 “For I am the Lord, I do not change;”

There is One YHWH God, One Word of YHWH God, and it is living! Yet we are constantly blaming God, saying that His Word has changed, when it clearly has not. YHWH God does not change.

Psalms 119:160 The entirety of Your word is truth, and every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever.

Because we lack understanding, we attempt to bend and twist God’s Word so that it brings our understanding to the forefront, rather than the truth. That’s what doctrine is!

Proverbs 4:2 For I give you good doctrine: Do not forsake my law.

But still, we continue to formulate, and make up doctrine that will justify our sin. And this will continue until Christ comes and that fateful day of judgment occurs.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. (2nd Timothy 4:3, 4)

We are witnesses to the arrival of this time that Paul prophesied. We have entire Churches that pay little attention to the truth, but bask in false doctrine, and ignore the whole front of the book we refer to as the Bible.

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2nd Timothy 3:16, 17)

When The Apostle Paul says, all scripture, He means that everything they had at that time, was valid and intended to bring us into the truth. And we should also take note that there was no New Testament at that time. All that was taught was from what we now call the Old Testament.

Rest assured that if we haven’t read and understood the beginning of the Book we will never arrive at the understanding we need for the end.

The Bereans tested everything Paul taught, according to the Scriptures they had. The original scrolls of the Books of the Torah and the Prophets.

Acts 17:11 These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.

We will never get at the truth of God’s Word until we stop separating the Word of God into two Categories. And believe me when I say, that without the truth we stand no chance of entering the Kingdom of Elohim. Because without the Word of God, we cannot conform to YHWH God’s will.

For He has said, Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. (James 4:8)

Understand that YHWH God will not conform to us, but we must conform to Him. And until we do, how is it that we will come into His World?

This is why we see the word repentance so often in scripture. Because unless we turn around and change in accordance with His will, we cannot be His children. For we must be Holy, for He is Holy!

1st Peter 1:15 but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,
16 because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”

Shalom my friends,

Chuck Greever

They called Him Rabbi, for a reason!

Deuteronomy 4:2 “You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.”

From the very beginning of scripture till the very last YHWH God has given us instructions on how to live lives thar reflect His Holiness. He laid these instructions out for everyone who loves and follows Him, and He expects that those who belong to Him will keep them and guard them as if they are as Holy as the Ark of the Covenant itself.

Those who do not keep them will go their own way, but those who do will be inducted into His Kingdom.

Blessed are those who do (Keep) His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie. (Revelation 22:14, 15)

We have not only developed doctrine that is against the Commandments of YHWH God, we have taught that doctrine to unsuspecting souls, and made them transgressors of God’s law. And they have no way of countering our false teaching, except that they need to know the scriptures better than their teachers. What have we done?

Christ Himself said, “Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:19)

Do we not know the difference between lies, and the truth? Teaching people who are looking for salvation from their sins these things, is an invitation to sin. Those who are doing this will be turned away at the very gates of heaven! because we will all be Judged according to the very same Commandments we have rejected.

It is by our deeds that we are judged.

Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man’s all.
14 For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, whether good or evil.

But if we live according to the commandments of God then we will have Loved God with all of our heart, and loved our neighbor as ourselves.

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments.
For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome
. (1st John 5:2, 3)

So far this is some of what we have done to God’s Word. We have changed the Sabbath, not because He commanded that change but because we think we know better than our creator. We have adopted the traditions of idol worshipers, by keeping Christmas, which is not Biblical, and Easter, rather than keeping Passover, which is commanded by God.

This is just some of it, and why have we done this? It seems that somewhere we developed the Idea that we have to distance ourselves from appearing to be like Jewish people. And even declare that we aren’t a part of God’s Israel.

The problem with this is that we have distanced ourselves from Christ, who is of the tribe of Judah. He is a Jewish Messiah, and nothing we can say or do will change the fact that these are His chosen people, and the very apple of His eye.

We can lay these things at the feet of the Roman Catholic Church, they freely admit to adopting the Sunday Sabbath, adapting the pagan Saturnalia to be Christ Mass, and adapting Passover to be the Pagan fertility rite, Easter. They did these things because they hated Jews, and openly declared that they wanted nothing to do with Jewish traditions.

Of course, the unfortunate thing about this, is that these are God’s traditions, not Jewish. Established according to the Commandments of the Elohim of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

But because we are afraid of seeming to be like Jews, we reject the very heart of God’s Word? I have to say that these things need to be reviewed, and reconsidered before Christ comes, because those of us that have adopted this unbiblical doctrine are not going to be well received.

Our lawless ways are going to be the source of our being rejected by the very Savior that we claim to love.

Did He not say, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice LAWLESSNESS!
’ (Matthew 7:21-23)

Anyone who has read the Sermon on the mount, or the story of the Young rich ruler, has to admit that Christ was, and is today a teacher of the Law. Do you really want to go against Him?

“Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.” (Matthew 19:17)

Make straight the way of the Lord!

Mark 1:2 “Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, who will prepare Your way before You.”
3 “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; make His paths straight.’”

YHWH God does not come unannounced. He always sends a harbinger, a warning that He is coming.

“Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, who will prepare Your way before You.” (Vs 2)

And this is always the message, we must incline our ears to, so that we will prepare to receive that which is Holy.

“The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; make His paths straight.’” (Vs 3)

Why, we may ask, must we change from our lawless ways?

It is because there will be a separation of what is Holy from what is profane.

Yahshua said, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost” (Luke 19:9, 10)

We need to understand that YHWH God will not abandon His covenant with the people who have given their consent, and entered into that Covenant with Him. We may have forgotten it, but He will not abandon what He has agreed to.

So, here’s the problem. We have turned from the word our ancestors gave, and while we may agree in principle, we do not carry out the terms of our covenant with our creator. And for all intents and purposes we have abandoned the terms of our covenant agreement, that we must keep His Torah / instructions.

These are the terms of His covenant agreement; thus, John says, “‘Prepare the way of the Lord; make His paths straight.’”

He will not stand for those who are living outside of Torah, He will not allow it. So, YHWH God sends His Son, Yahshua, to correct us. He is a teacher of the Law, Torah! And while grace was given to those who repented of their Sin / lawlessness, He never wavered in bringing forward the Commandments of His Father.

Thus, He said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” and then He added, He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” (John 14:21)

Returning to God’s covenant agreement in repentance puts us back into the relationship that we were intended to have from the beginning. There is no avoiding the primary issue here. Unless we return to the path that YHWH God laid out for us from the beginning we will perish.

Thus, John the Baptist cries out, “I am ‘The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Make straight the way of the Lord,”’ (John 1:23)

How dense do we have to be not to see it? Then comes Messiah / Christ Yahshua who teaches us that we must keep the Commandments of God, and lives as an example of how it is done.

And in the Book of Revelation, He makes it abundantly clear to us that the Commandments are key to the love relationship between YHWH God and His people.

12 “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.
13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”
14 Blessed are those who keep / do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
15 But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie. (Revelation 22:12-15)

So, for those who are saying that we don’t have to Keep God’s Commandments, we find the truth! That ultimately, we will be judged according to works, not grace! (See Vs 12)

He was in the Beginning and also at the end of all things, and the one consistent theme throughout all of scripture is the Torah / Commandments of God and that must be kept.

Then in verse 13 we are told clearly, that those who have kept / guarded the Commandments are admitted to the kingdom, and everyone else is left outside, and why.

Are we among those who have believed the lie?

Because this is who will be left out. “Whoever loves and practices a lie.” (Vs 15)

For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only £He who now restrains will do so until He (The Anti-Christ) is taken out of the way.
                           (2nd Thessalonians 2:7-12)

Believing the lies of those who serve the Anti-Christ will be our undoing. Pay attention to what we have been given in the scriptures. For many of us will not be saved unless we repent of our Lawless / sinful ways.

“Make straight the way of the Lord,”

Freedom from our prejudice!

Genesis 26:4 “I will give to your descendants all these lands; and in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed;
5 because Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.”

Was Abraham a Jew? No! He was out of Ur of Chaldees, He was just as much a Gentile, before he met YHWH God in the wilderness, as any other Gentile. But the difference is that he believed and obeyed every word that God said to Him. and YHWH God testifies to that when he says, “because Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.” (Vs 5)

I have discovered that many who say they believe in Christ Yahshua / Jesus claim that they are Gentiles. But isn’t it interesting that the father of all Jews is also a Gentile?

This tells me that there’s no difference genetically between Jews and Gentiles, except that He believed and was blessed of God. Therefore, the reason that there is such a thing as anti-Semitism is because of the difference between those who believe, and those who don’t.

Thus, Christians say they are different from Jews, and as a result, they have separated themselves not only from God’s chosen people, but also from the Messiah who is a Jew, we can be sure that if YHWH God is not prejudice, we ought not be either.

So, now that we understand that our prejudice against Jews is based on their having received the Commandments of God, and their willingness to obey them. Their blessings stem from that relationship, and from the promises given to their Gentile ancestor, Abraham.

“I will give to your descendants all these lands; and in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed;” (Vs 4)

So, where is our blessing? Without our obedience we cannot receive God’s blessings. We have cut ourselves off because of our unbelief.

“Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse:
the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you today; and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known.
(Deuteronomy 11:26-28)

So, there’s only two kinds of people on the Earth, and it has nothing to do with our prejudice, there’s no difference between Jew and Gentile. There in fact, is only one thing that separates us, and that is our willingness to believe YHWH God and obey His Commandments.

Thus: “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” (John 14:15) and that is followed by, “He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” (John 14:21)

For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
(Galatians 3:26-29)

When we draw lines, it is usually for a reason, but this is one difference we as the people of God can do without. For all men are equal in His eyes, except for this one thing, believing equals obedience, and obedience equals blessings.

Many of us have excluded ourselves from God’s blessings, because of the lies that we have been fed from childhood, Now is the time to believe and repent of our unbelief.

“If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.
And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
(John 8:31, 32)

Shalom my friends,

Chuck Greever

Now is the time to return!

Exodus 20:8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9Six days you shall labor and do all your work,
10but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates.
11For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore, the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

Is this, or is it not, the Word of God?

The 4th Commandment is about remembering. It is the only one of YHWH God’s commandments that calls us to be sure to remember that His Sabbath is His set aside time, to rest from all of our Labors.

We are not to cook, wash dishes, mow the lawn, or go shopping, on this holy and set apart day. Causing another person to work, or violate this commandment in any way.

Now supposedly when we receive the Holy Spirit God writes His Word, the Commandments on our heart and in our minds.

“This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds, I will write them,” (Hebrews 10:16)

So, what happened to this writing? Apparently, it just didn’t take with some folks. And the evidence of it is in their refusal to keep His Commandments. And beyond that, they have even preached that the Commandments of God are no longer valid. And since Christ fulfilled them, they don’t have to? This is total blasphemy, and violates the 3rd Commandment.

This is what Christ and His disciples call lawlessness.

The Apostle James said, “For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.”  (James 2:10)

And the Apostle John said, “Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.
He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.
He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
(1st John 2:3-6)

So, apparently Christ taught His disciples well, that they must keep the commandments, and teach others to do the same. To what end, if He was going to abolish them?

Did Jesus / Yahshua not say, “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.
18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.
19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
20 For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.”
(Matthew 5:17-20)

He is saying that He will not do away with the law, but will fully teach and exemplify the Commandments of the Father. And if a man speaks against the Commandments of God, He is held in low esteem by the saints. But whoever does keep them and teaches them, will be esteemed as great in Heaven.

Seriously, why would He say that He would not abolish the Law of God, if He was going to do so, unless he’s a liar. But isn’t Satan the liar? The one who is Lawless!

And then He says, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” (John 14:15)

And again, “He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” (John 14:21)

But we say, no, I don’t love you that much, and remain lawless? But here is His word on what will happen to those who continue in their lawlessness.

Christ Jesus / Yahshua said, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice LAWLESSNESS!’

He does not intend to allow such people anywhere near Him, come the day of Judgment! Personally I can’t imagine how it would feel to hear my Savior say, get away from me, I never knew you. I pray I never Hear those words.

We need to audit the doctrine that has been passed down to us and return to the truth that is the Word of YHWH God.

Jesus / Yahshua also said, “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.
Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”
(Matthew 7:13, 14)

The scriptures tell us to examine ourselves, and if we do, ought we not as of ourselves how our way is narrow, or difficult? And are we truly desirous of eternal life? if so then put away your man-made doctrine, and return to the scriptures, seeking truth.

Let your salvation be true and do not follow the Lawless one.

(2nd Thessalonians 2:7-12)

Could it be that we have been duped into following the enemy, rather than he who shed blood so that we might have grace? If so, now is the time to return to YHWH God!

Shalom My friends,

Choose well whom you will serve!

Revelation 12:13 Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child.
14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.
15 So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood.
16 But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.
17 And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Yahshua / Jesus Christ
.

Who is the dragon?

Everyone knows that Satan Is the dragon and he has taken possession of a very powerful entity on the earth who is also referred to as the dragon, China. He has and is persecuting Christians to this day.

Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child. (Vs 13)

I believe the male Child is the Son of YHWH God, and this is about the willingness of Mary to serve as the mother of Christ and bear this child. It speaks to the willing attitude of the servants of Christ, to lay their lives on the line for the Coming kingdom.

And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.
Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren.
For with God nothing will be impossible.”
Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.
(Luke 1:35-38)

The woman, the bride of Christ, was able to escape from this dragon by taking flight. The wings of a great eagle were given to her. So, she finds a refuge in a wilderness.

Here is why I have always said that there will be super natural protection for those who belong to Yahshua, and that there is a place in the wilderness that they will gather, and no harm will come to them.

But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.

So, the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood.
But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.
(Vs 14-16)

Attempts will be made to dislodge the remnant in hiding, I don’t know how such a large volume of water is used, but perhaps a man-made tsunami. Thus, it is advisable to be in the Hills or mountains, and to trust that Yahshua has more power than Satan could imagine.

We will be a witness to a super natural struggle between the forces of God and the forces of evil. And may also be participants. We may have to do more than just hide.

But here is the clincher, John the prophet tells us that It’s not going to be the traditional Christians that will have Christ on their side, but those who keep the Commandments of YHWH God,

He says, And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Yahshua / Jesus Christ.” (Vs 18)

Here is why I am consistently preaching the commandments of YHWH God; this is our path to a full-blown relationship with Yahshua. Those who say they are dependent on grace for their salvation, and violate the Commandments of God will be the first to be destroyed. Torah keepers are gong to be singled out for YHWH God, to preserve as His remnant.

Perhaps now would be a good time to try and understand why Yahshua said, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. (Torah)
Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
(Matthew 7:21-23)

If those who are traditional Christians really want to believe the lies of the Anti-Christ, there’s nothing I can say that will help them. But if you’re reading this, you can’t say that you weren’t told. What happens to those who follow this route, is clearly laid out in the scriptures. The only one at fault is the individual that has made the choice to depend on grace alone and avoid obeying God’s Commandments.

And here also is the reason why I have had so much to say about keeping the Sabbath, the fourth Commandment. It is a sin worthy of death, and the Devils that teach it know that! Thus, we violate the Commandments weekly and do not repent of it. That in itself is the strongest indication the those doing it are Lawless. Thus, this alone is our spiritual death wish.

Did Christ not say, “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.
Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”
(Matthew 7:13, 14)

A permissive attitude will not bring blessings, but curses.

When God gave the Commandments to His people he said, “Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse: the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you today; and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known.” (Deuteronomy 11:26-28)

If we do not obey His Commandments, to Him we are no different than any other Idol worshipper. He knows with certainty that He is not your God, but something else is.

Here is why Yahshua said, 21He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” (John 14:21)

Those who keep the Commandments, belong to Him, and no other. And the time that this kind of love counts is upon us now. Choose wisely!

“And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15)
