Psalms 119:9 How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word.
10 With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments!
11 Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.
12 Blessed are You, O Lord! Teach me Your statutes.
13 With my lips I have declared all the judgments of Your mouth.
14 I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, as much as in all riches.
15 I will meditate on Your precepts, and contemplate Your ways.
16 I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word.
Young man, or old man, we are able to cleanse or way, by obeying YHWH God’s Commandments. For by grace, we have been forgiven, because of the Lamb of God and His work on the cross. So now what do we do? But look for a way to not sin again.
Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.
28 Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?
Now we know that sin is Lawlessness, Amen?
1st John 3:4 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.
5 And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.
6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.
We know that when we have sinned something is wrong, the Holy Spirit is shouting at us, saying we have offended YHWH God the Father, and we have stepped outside of the bonds of Covenant. We may notice that our prayers are hindered, or circumstances will tell us that the blessings of God have departed.
With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments!
Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You. (Vs 10, 11)
We already know that it’s the commandments of God that keep us in the fold!
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” (John 10:28)
Blessed are You, O Lord! Teach me Your statutes.
With my lips I have declared all the judgments of Your mouth. (Vs 12, 13)
We say that we follow Yahshua / Jesus Christ the Messiah, but do we really? How can we say we follow Him and walk in His ways, if we do not listen to His teachings? How can we say that we follow Him and not keep His commandments, just as he did? For if we love Him, we will live for Him and the Father. just as He did.
Listen to His request, “He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” (John 14:21)
He makes no bones about it! Keeping His Commandments is following Him. Nothing else will suffice, and certainly those who say he did it so we don’t have to keep those Commandments, they are liars!
The Apostle John says, “He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.
He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.” (1st John 2:4-6)
Surely, we must realize that if anyone tells us different, that we have been lied to by Satan Himself.
For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He (The Anti-Christ) who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.
And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.
The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
And for this reason, God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2nd Thessalonians 2:7-12)
We must not allow ourselves to be deceived! But we must take from the Word of YHWH God the truth, and anyone can see it, and understand it by simply taking into consideration the whole Word, rather than glancing at verses taken out of context.
From cover to cover we are presented with Torah / God’s instructions. Instead of wrestling with Him, ought we not to thank Him, and give Abba God our praise and honor, rather than our disobedience?
I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, as much as in all riches.
I will meditate on Your precepts, and contemplate Your ways.
I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word. (Vs 14-17)
Pray and ask Yahshua to show us His truth, and let Him guide us.
Shalom my friends,
