If you’re living by His Spirit you are awake 24/7 and whether sleeping or awake your Spirit is active and so is your mind.
4 Behold, He who keeps Israel
Shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is your keeper;
The Lord is your shade at your right hand.
6 The sun shall not strike you by day,
Nor the moon by night.
It is imperative that we begin our day by remembering our dreams, and when we lay our heads down at night we should dedicate our dream life to the Holy Spirit that watches over us even during our sleep. Everything that happens in our sleep state has Spiritual implications, and we even receive prompting when it’s something that we need to pay attention to.
All of us have had such dreams that we had no difficulty remembering them. I am willing to bet that as we’re reading this we will recall a dream that stuck with us for a long time, and probably had a great influence on our life. I know that I have had many such dreams.
Daniel, Joseph and many others had such dreams according to the Scriptures. And they weighed heavily in their lives.
Do not think for a moment that Yah will leave us or forsake us,even in our sleep, but we must begin to act as though we expect to be led. In our sleep when we are most open to the operation of the Holy Spirit.
How to begin?
Put a pen and note pad next to your bed. And when you wake even if it’s a bathroom call, write down the last thing you remember from your dreams.
Over a period of time, piece by piece, we’ll find that there’s a pattern to our dream life. We’ll be shown how we must change in order to grow in the Spirit, and awaken our relationship to Yahshua.
Did He not say, “I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.” (John 14:18)
Now is the time to wake up and let the gifts of the Holy Spirit come forth in our lives. How else do we think the gift of prophecy will become manifest in us?
Let’s be awake and aware 24/7.
Shalom my friends,
