For the love of Truth.

Galatians 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.
11 But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man.
12 For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Paul speaks to those who need to know where He’s coming from. There are those who have come against Him for no other reason except that He speaks the truth according to God’s Word.

He makes it absolutely clear that He is there but for one purpose, to serve Christ, not man.

People are going to get upset because they’re doctrine will be disproven, by God’s Word.

For I give you good doctrine: Do not forsake my law. (Proverbs 4:2)

He makes known, “But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man.”  (Vs 11)

And the reason why it is not according to man, is that it from the time he was struck down on the road to Damascus, He became a disciple of Christ. And his education was given to Him by Yehoshua Himself While he was two years in the Arabian Wilderness.

He says, “For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ.” (Vs 12)

I believe this is true of and disciple who is actually called of Christ. But so many of us have been side tracked because of the influence of false teachers even in Bible Schools and Seminaries.

For 1800 years the Word of God has endured attack after attack by those who have their own agenda. So, now we have a church that teaches that once you’re pronounced saved by some preacher, you’re saved forever more. The once saved always saved doctrine is false.

Otherwise, we wouldn’t have Paul saying, “work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. (Philippians 2:12)

And we are teaching Rapture doctrine when there’s no such thing taught by the scriptures.

Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. (Amos 3:7)

No prophet even Mentions such an event, and there is only one return of Christ, not multiple returns.

We have been taught to honor the 25th of December as the birth of Christ. This is also false! Christ could not have been born in the month of December. But most likely in late September or early October during the festival of Sukkot. (Feast of Tabernacles)

If for no other reason, no shepherds would have flocks in the field at that time of year, it’s too cold. But guess whose birth is celebrated on December 25th? That’s the birth of Baal (Nimrod) and every other Pagan deity.

Christmas and Saturnalia are identical celebrated by Pagan’s and Christians alike. Because this Pagan tradition was brought into the Church by Roman Catholic Priest as a way to attract more Pagans into the church in circa 321AD.

And Easter also which is identified by the name of Ishtar the Pagan goddess of fertility, thus we have egg laying rabbits, etc.

And neither of these two feasts are biblical, nowhere in the scriptures do we find God ordaining either one, or commanding lent.

But YHVH God does say, “You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.” (Deuteronomy 4:2)

We have been led astray, and the Roman Catholic Church is the Vessel Satan used to do this to Christ’s church. From the time of the reformation this kind if doctrine including the changing of the Sabbath was brought forward by this entity.

So now we have the History of the Anti-Christ and His work in our churches.

I too bear the mantle of bringing truth to those who will listen. Those who won’t hear it, it’s because they never knew the Way, the Truth, or the Life of Christ.

Paul also says, “The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
And for this reason, God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
(2nd Thessalonians 2:9-12)

Those who belong to the Anti-Christ are not supposed to believe the truth, they will remain deceived. But those who love the truth, will hear it today.

“If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:31, 32)

Shalom my friends,

Chuck Greever

The ultimate choice.

Leviticus 23:1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
2 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘The feasts of the Lord, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, these are My feasts.
3 ‘Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation. You shall do no work on it; it is the Sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings.

The 23rd Chapter of Leviticus outlines the appointed times (moedim) of YHVH God. His feast days begin with the Sabbath and then seven other times through out the year that are Holy convocations. But here is where we will first discuss the Sabbath.

It is also found in the Book of Exodus, Numbers, 2nd Kings, 1st and 2nd Chronicles, the book of Nehemiah, Psalms, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Amos, and Deuteronomy. It is also found throughout the Gospels in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. You’ll find the Sabbath discussed in the book of Acts,

Throughout the whole of scripture, the Sabbath is an issue that arises continually, yet those who have replaced the Sabbath with which was borne out of Paganism act as though they had never heard either God or His prophets speak of it.

Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. (Amos 3:7)

Yet nowhere do we hear of any prophet announcing to the World that the Holy Sabbath would be changed by God.

But to the contrary we hear, Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who lays hold on it; Who keeps from defiling the Sabbath, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.”
3 Do not let the son of the foreigner who has joined himself to the Lord speak, saying, “The Lord has utterly separated me from His people”; nor let the eunuch say, “Here I am, a dry tree.”
4    For thus says the Lord: “To the eunuchs who keep My Sabbaths, and choose what pleases Me, and hold fast My covenant,
5 Even to them I will give in My house and within My walls a place and a name better than that of sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that shall not be cut off.
6 “Also the sons of the foreigner who join themselves to the Lord, to serve Him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be His servants—Everyone who keeps from defiling the Sabbath, and holds fast My covenant—
7 Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”
(Isaiah 56:2-7)

Blind Crippled or Crazy, if we keep His Sabbath, there is a place for us in His Holy city. And he will hear our Prayers.

But what happens to those who deliberately transgress His most Holy appointed time?

Exodus 31:12 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
13 “Speak also to the children of Israel, saying: ‘Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies you.
14 You shall keep the Sabbath, therefore, for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from among his people.
15 Work shall be done for six days, but the seventh is the Sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
16 Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant.
17 It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel forever; for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’”

If we’re violating God’s Commandments regarding the keeping of His Sabbath, I would not want to be in your shoes on the day of judgment. For God himself previews what He will do to those who are in the habit of violating His Sabbath.

You shall keep the Sabbath, therefore, for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from among his people. (Vs 14)

He promises death. Now at this point we need to consider the truth as it is spoken By YHVH Himself. Is God a liar?

To deny what he is saying is the same as calling Him a liar, is it not?

Obeying the Word of God is the total purpose of having a Bible. If we’re not going obey it, then we need to toss our Bible the nearest trash can, or give it to someone who will do what it says.

YHVH spoke to Moses and said, “You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.” (Deuteronomy 4:2)

We must keep His Word, the Covenant, and not deviate from it in the slightest, and at the very minimum, Keep the Ten Commandments. For the Sabbath is the 4th commandment.

So, this really isn’t about the Sabbath day, as much as it’s about our disobedience before a Just and Holy God.

We need now to ask ourselves if we are truly on the path to Salvation, or have we been deceived?

Consider what Paul tells us, And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.
9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,
10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,
12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
(2nd Thessalonians 2:8-12)

We must make up our minds, who it is that we must follow? And Having weighed the evidence, then choose for ourselves what we will do.

Shalom my friends,

Chuck Greever

What good is faith, unless we’re willing to stand on it?

Numbers 13:21 So they went up and spied out the land from the Wilderness of Zin as far as Rehob, near the entrance of Hamath.
22 And they went up through the South and came to Hebron; Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the descendants of Anak, were there. (Now Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.)
23 Then they came to the Valley of Eshcol, and there cut down a branch with one cluster of grapes; they carried it between two of them on a pole. They also brought some of the pomegranates and figs.
24 The place was called the Valley of Eshcol, because of the cluster which the men of Israel cut down there.
25 And they returned from spying out the land after forty days.
26 Now they departed and came back to Moses and Aaron and all the congregation of the children of Israel in the Wilderness of Paran, at Kadesh; they brought back word to them and to all the congregation, and showed them the fruit of the land.
27 Then they told him, and said: “We went to the land where you sent us. It truly flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit.
28 Nevertheless the people who dwell in the land are strong; the cities are fortified and very large; moreover, we saw the descendants of Anak there.
29 The Amalekites dwell in the land of the South; the Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Amorites dwell in the mountains; and the Canaanites dwell by the sea and along the banks of the Jordan.”
30 Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.”

31 But the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.”
32 And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature.
33 There we saw the £giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.”

YHVH had commanded Moses to send men to spy out the Land that He had promised them. for this is the Land that he is giving them. However, they must fight for it.

1And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
2“Send men to spy out the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the children of Israel; from each tribe of their fathers, you shall send a man, every man a leader among them.”
(Numbers 13:1, 2)

So, Moses sent out men to spy out the land and among them were Joshua, and Caleb. And they returned with a good report. At least in regard to the bounty of this rich land.

So, they went up and spied out the land from the Wilderness of Zin as far as Rehob, near the entrance of Hamath.
(Vs 21-23)

Obviously, there was a wonderful bounty to be had, and for a people who had been wandering in the wilderness a huge incentive to go after it. YHVH had commanded that they will take it, and make it their home.

The place was called the Valley of Eshcol, because of the cluster which the men of Israel cut down there.
(Vs 24-27)

This is the land that YHVH is giving to them, But they must fight to possess it, a land flowing with milk and honey.

But!

Nevertheless, the people who dwell in the land are strong; the cities are fortified and very large; moreover, we saw the descendants of Anak there.
29 The Amalekites dwell in the land of the South; the Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Amorites dwell in the mountains; and the Canaanites dwell by the sea and along the banks of the Jordan.”
(Vs 28, 29)

The descendantsof Anak are a very large and strong people, descended from giants. And the thoughts of taking large fortified cities and fighting giants apparently struck fear in the hearts of many of these Israelites. And I can understand that.

But Caleb says, Let’s go, let’s fight and win. The heart of a true warrior speaks and does not doubt.

Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.” (Vs 30)

Caleb believes the Lord when He says this is your Promised Land, He knows what the rest of Israel does not.

YHVH does not give and then say you’re on your own. No, He will go to war at their side. They cannot be defeated, and Caleb knows this. But apparently Israel doubts God’s word.

31But the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.”
32And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature.
33There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.”
(Vs 31-33)

The voices of fear and doubt are speaking of defeat, before a God who will not have it!

Numbers 14:1 So all the congregation lifted up their voices and cried, and the people wept that night.
2 And all the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron, and the whole congregation said to them, “If only we had died in the land of Egypt! Or if only we had died in this wilderness!
3 Why has the Lord brought us to this land to fall by the sword, that our wives and children should become victims? Would it not be better for us to return to Egypt?”
4 So they said to one another, “Let us select a leader and return to Egypt.”

This is not a good thing, to doubt YHVH God, when He makes a promise those who have faith will believe Him and act on faith. And those who do not, well, let us say that they have fallen into the hands of the enemy.

But here, even in the face of a huge insult to the power and might of YHVH God, there will be a lesson taught.

5 Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel. (Vs 5)

Moses and Aaron knew that YHVH was angry thus they were on their faces before YHVH.

6 But Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had spied out the land, tore their clothes;
7 and they spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying: “The land we passed through to spy out is an exceedingly good land.
8 If the Lord delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, ‘a land which flows with milk and honey.’
9 Only do not rebel against the Lord, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the Lord is with us. Do not fear them.”
(Vs 6-9)

These lion-hearted men give testimony for the Elohim of Israel, and say do not fear, God is with us!

And not only do they not listen they offer to stone them.

And all the congregation said to stone them with stones. Now the glory of the Lord appeared in the tabernacle of meeting before all the children of Israel. (Vs 10)

This rebellion is about to be put down by YHVH Himself, and they will not have another opportunity to defy God again.

Here’s the lesson in this for us. If God delivers us from bondage as He did these Israelites from Egypt, then do not rebel against Him. How is He going to fight for us unless we believe Him to deliver us.

He knows that we have no real appreciation for His gift to us unless we have invested ourselves in it. Thus, we fight, and He helps us, in ways that we cannot imagine. What enemy can oppose God and live?

Joshua 24:12 “I sent the hornet before you which drove them out from before you, also the two kings of the Amorites, but not with your sword or with your bow.
13 I have given you a land for which you did not labor, and cities which you did not build, and you dwell in them; you eat of the vineyards and olive groves which you did not plant.’”

YHVH reminds Joshua of the time He sent swarms of hornets to fight before the Israelites got there with sword in hand. I don’t know if you have ever suffered a sting from a hornet, but its pain horrendous. Needless to say, God rendered the enemy unable to fight.

When we go to fight the enemies of this nation, having first submitted to Christ Yahshua, I have no doubt that He will fight on our side, and we will prevail and restore our God given nation to its place in the world as a bastion of freedom, and Christianity.

Sitting on our duff, and claiming that God will do it is not going to work. Faith is no good unless we’re willing to bet our lives on it.

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
(Romans 8:31, 32)

Shalom my friends,

Chuck Greever

How cursed are we?

Deuteronomy 12:29 “When the Lord your God cuts off from before you the nations which you go to dispossess, and you displace them and dwell in their land,
30 take heed to yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying, ‘How did these nations serve their gods? I also will do likewise.’
31 You shall not worship the Lord your God in that way; for every abomination to the Lord which He hates they have done to their gods; for they burn even their sons and daughters in the fire to their gods.
32 “Whatever I command you, be careful to observe it; you shall not add to it nor take away from it.

Every nation that I know of has a history of conquest in it’s past, one civilization, or culture, replaced another, and another. But in Israel, it was all about who worshiped YHVH God, And who worshiped Idols.

For some reason many cultures were built around a tangible god, something they could see, and touch, rather than the creator, in whom we live and breathe, and have our lives.

It is just so difficult for humans to grasp a God that is unseen and controlling all facets of life, but is so huge that Heaven and Earth are His domain. It is mind boggling to even try to understand that there is such a God.

Yet He revealed Himself to Moses and the Children of Israel. He was a burning bush, a column of smoke by day, and a column of fire by night, as he led them out of bondage and into a land, he had promised them.

For 40 years they followed Him, He fed them, watered them, even in the desert. Yes, Israel Knew who God is, and had seen Him, prayed to Him, and worshipped Him. They also knew the Commandments of God, and knew to keep them as a condition of their covenant agreement with YHVH God.

“When the Lord your God cuts off from before you the nations which you go to dispossess, and you displace them and dwell in their land, take heed to yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying, ‘How did these nations serve their gods? I also will do likewise.’” (Vs 29, 30)

The fact that these nations were bowing down to idols, while they ignored the creator, was their undoing. Now they werecondemned to death at the hands of God’s Children, and at His direction. And Joshua and His army will kill them all. Men Women, Children, and even the livestock in some cases. Truly they would be dispossessed by Israel.

But now does it make sense to go and worship their gods, after they are destroyed for doing the same thing. I would think that it would be common sense to not do that. Yet, YHVH God commands them to not do this.

“You shall not worship the Lord your God in that way; for every abomination to the Lord which He hates they have done to their gods; for they burn even their sons and daughters in the fire to their gods.” (Vs 31)

So, he tells them why, because it’s an abomination to Him, They have even destroyed their own children before these Idols. Speaking of the practice of child sacrifice to Molech, they burned them in a fire.

Kind of like our late term abortion, they rid themselves of the responsibility of having to raise their children, and absolved themselves of their sin.

God will turn from such people.

He adds, “Whatever I command you, be careful to observe it; you shall not add to it nor take away from it.” (Vs 32)

Now this is more than a Commandment, for it bears a dire warning, to be careful about these things, not to do anything that is even remotely like these idol worshipers. Believe me when I say, offending God is not at all like offending another human. When YHVH is offended by a human who has committed to Him, there is an automatic response, and we will either repent, or wind up dealing with curses.

“Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse: the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you today; and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known.” (Deuteronomy 11: 26-28)

When we disobey Him, He sees that as idolatry, and curses come upon us. Surely, we must be committed to some other god, if we do not listen to, and obey Him?

So, let’s take inventory of our sins before a righteous and just God, and perhaps we will then be able to understand why things are not going as planned for us as a nation, and as individuals.

  1. We stand idly by while children are being slaughtered, both before and after birth.
  2. We have adopted Pagan traditions, like Halloween, Christmas, and Easter. And even though they are not of God, we have incorporated them into our worship.
  3. We look upon the gay lifestyle as if it is acceptable. An abomination to God, and we have even married them.
  4. We are allowing our children to be taught sexual perversion in our schools, but prayer is hindered.
  5. And what began as a free nation is now run by tyrants, and evil is being forced on people in the form of an inoculation that destroys God’s presence in our lives by disrupting the DNA He gave us.
  6. We have borrowed more money than we can possibly repay as a nation, therefore, we have sold ourselves into bondage to those who hold the purse strings. The God of mammon holds our leash.

Truly we are following in the footsteps of Ancient Pagan cultures, taking on their ways and worse. What was formerly a Christian Nation, is now a gun for hire, in this world. And under the guise of fighting for freedom, we go and fight wars for money, oil, and gold.

Truly we are a nation cursed. And when we bow down before our Christmas tree, and cut into our Christmas ham, remember what God has said, “You shall not worship the Lord your God in that way;”

“And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15)

Shalom my friends,

Chuck Greever

God’s immune system.

Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. (Psalms 91:9-11)

Those of us who have made a dwelling place for Yehoshua need not worry about Covid or any other sickness coming upon them. For we have inside of us something that is holy and clean, that no filth can corrupt.

Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; (Vs 9, 10)

Your Home shall be a sanctuary, and no evil shall be welcomed therein.

For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. (Vs 11)

We may know that we have been visited by something vile and evil, but it will not affect us, I know that I have been exposed to sickness that is infectious, but still, I remain healthy.

I am well kept by those angels that serve Christ Yahshua. For they protect this holy temple, not allowing it to be corrupted.

Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? (1st Corinthians 6:19)

It is the presence of God’s Spirit that makes us His domain. Protected by unseen forces, and preserved for His purposes.

Christ Yehoshua said, “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” (Mark 16:17, 18)

Yehoshua is the best protection against sickness or poison there is. And even if you did catch a virus or get bit by a snake, you’ll recover and be stronger for it.

3But when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and laid them on the fire, a viper came out because of the heat, and fastened on his hand.
4So when the natives saw the creature hanging from his hand, they said to one another, “No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he has escaped the sea, yet justice does not allow to live.”
5But he shook off the creature into the fire and suffered no harm.
6However, they were expecting that he would swell up or suddenly fall down dead. But after they had looked for a long time and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds and said that he was a god.
(Acts 28:3-6)

Clearly the Apostle Paul evidence the Power of YHVH God in that he continued to serve even after being bitten by a viper, He was protected from harm. As are any of us who serve God in obedience to His Commandments, because that evidences our love for Him, and our devotion to Him.

The best Immune system we could have!

But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.” (1st Peter 1:15, 16)
