Above all, YHWH God is a redeemer!

Ezekiel 36:16 Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
17 “Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own ways and deeds; to Me their way was like the uncleanness of a woman in her customary impurity.
18 Therefore I poured out My fury on them for the blood they had shed on the land, and for their idols with which they had defiled it.
19 So I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed throughout the countries; I judged them according to their ways and their deeds.
20 When they came to the nations, wherever they went, they profaned My holy name—when they said of them, ‘These are the people of the Lord, and yet they have gone out of His land.’
21 But I had concern for My holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations wherever they went.

The Prophet Ezekiel speaks of the time that YHWH God scattered the tribes of Israel to the nations, saying, “Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own ways and deeds; to Me their way was like the uncleanness of a woman in her customary impurity.” (Vs 17)

Their own ways were to blame, not the way of the Elohim. They had become a god unto themselves. So, we see what walking outside of the covenant does to a people who had committed themselves to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Joseph, when they turn away and transgress His instructions / Torah.

Deuteronomy 11:26 “Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse:
27 the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you today;
28 and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known.

So, here we can see clearly, what becomes of those who have transgressed YHWH God’s Law, the covenant.

Therefore, I poured out My fury on them for the blood they had shed on the land, and for their idols with which they had defiled it. (Vs 18)

Surely, we can understand God’s anger. They ran to Him for deliverance from bondage and persecution, and He came to them and with a mighty hand brought them out of their troubles and gave them a land of their own, and as soon as they were safe and wealthy, and in their own land. They began to fall away and practice things that were an offense to God. Idolatry, and child sacrifice, and marrying outside of their faith.

Deuteronomy 12:29 “When the Lord your God cuts off from before you the nations which you go to dispossess, and you displace them and dwell in their land,
30 take heed to yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying, ‘How did these nations serve their gods? I also will do likewise.’
31 You shall not worship the Lord your God in that way; for every abomination to the Lord which He hates they have done to their gods; for they burn even their sons and daughters in the fire to their gods.
32 “Whatever I command you, be careful to observe it; you shall not add to it nor take away from it.

They did exactly what they were told by YHWH God himself not to do, and violated the Covenant!

“So, I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed throughout the countries; I judged them according to their ways and their deeds.”  (Vs 19)

YHWH God continues to judge them even after they had been cast out. He sees what they have done since, and says of their conduct among the nations that they continue to shame Him.

“When they came to the nations, wherever they went, they profaned My holy name—when they said of them, ‘These are the people of the Lord, and yet they have gone out of His land.’” (Vs 20)

Wherever they went, they stuck out like a sore thumb. Traveler’s and wayfarer’s they were always strangers to the nations. And if they returned to the way and practiced the faith of Israel, they were seen as totally different from everyone else. Just the Sabbath and its practices would have been enough to make them outcasts in Pagan lands. It must have been very difficult for them.

“But I had concern for My holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations wherever they went.” (Vs 21)

We find however, that YHWH God’s concern is His holy name, Thus He will redeem them in order to restore what they had blasphemed.

Ezekiel 36:22 “Therefore say to the house of Israel, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “I do not do this for your sake, O house of Israel, but for My holy name’s sake, which you have profaned among the nations wherever you went.
23 And I will sanctify My great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord,” says the Lord GOD, “when I am hallowed in you before their eyes.
24 For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land.
25 Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.
26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
27 I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.
28 Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God.
29 I will deliver you from all your uncleanness.”

This is happening now, He is drawing those who belong to Him, out of their places and restoring them to the land He promised them. Here is the reason so many of us have left the traditional Church and returned the Way of Christ. And why we are keeping Father God’s Commandments, the Covenant, just as Christ Yahshua exemplified.

Here is why he said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” (John 14:15) And why He said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” (Matthew 15:24)

There are many great lessons that can be taken from this scripture for today, but this stands out to me.

We need to observe How God deals with unbelief, in America, and elsewhere.

We need to see that he will never leave us or forsake us.

And We must understand that He will always be a God of redemption and salvation, but understand that not everyone will make the cut, but only those who are willing to obey His and live according to His Holy Word.

And why Jesus / Yahshua said, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.
He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.” (John 14:23, 24)

A New heart!

Ezekiel 36:26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
27 I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.
28 Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God.

Several years ago, Yahshua / Jesus gave me a vision. And what I saw was a cross that was golden, and covered in precious stones, diamonds, rubies, emeralds. It was beautiful, and then it just vanished. This cross was the most valuable thing I had ever laid eyes on, truly a million-dollar cross.

But as it turned out it wasn’t about the dollar value, this cross had another meaning altogether, as I would soon find out.

After I had viewed this cross, I laid down to go to sleep, and in my sleep Yahshua / Jesus revealed to me the meaning behind my vision. He said that he had been calling me to the ministry for years and I refused to come, because I wanted to make my first million first. He then told that it would never happen that I would be successful financially.

At the time I had two computer stores that were failing, so what I was being told by my Savior rang very true. It seemed that no matter what I did or how hard I worked, it just would not help. But what was worse was the notion that I had turned away from serving my savior for such a worldly notion. I woke up in tears, ashamed of what I had done.

I told Him then, crying like a baby, that I would never say “No” to Him again. And at that moment he did something to me that is spoken of in this scripture. He reached His hand into my chest and removed my old hard heart, and replaced it with a brand new one made of flesh and crammed full of His love and compassion.

For a time after that I couldn’t speak of what had happened to me at the hand of my king, because when I thought of it, I would be reduced to tears again. Even now, over 20 years later, as I write these words tears are forming in my eyes.

Speaking through the Prophet Ezekiel, He says, “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.” (Vs 26)

I can surely affirm the truth of this word because I have personally experienced it. But it was only after I surrendered that he did this to me. HallaluYAH! And as it turned out that beautiful cross was for me, and I would earn it.

And what comes next?

“I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.”  (Vs 27)

It took some time, but he led me away from the traditional church setting. I began witnessing to people on the street, in a wonderful and very powerful way, asking them if they had kept the Commandments of God, had they sinned by lying, stealing, adultery, etc.

He then brought to my attention that I was not keeping the Commandments myself, because I was violating the 4th Commandment. Not keeping His Sabbath!

So, I began to follow His instructions to keep His Sabbath, meeting on Saturdays with a few friends. We shared a meal and opened the scriptures. I was beginning to realize that what I was led to do, I was to return to my Hebrew roots, and the church as it was in Acts, before the Roman Catholic Church got involved.

“Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God.” (Vs 28)

It wasn’t long after this that He told me in a dream that I would be moving to Tennessee from Virginia.

I arrived in Tennessee 3 years later. Where he placed me under a wonderful teacher. And my eyes were opened to many things that tied it all together. But still, I am not through with my travels. He is Moving me again, this time for what, I don’t yet know. But regardless of where or what I am called to do, I look forward to being led by His Holy Spirit even into the Jaws of hell itself.

For I have received a new heart, filled to overflowing with love for those who are searching for the truth.

I am here for that purpose, to call them out of the darkness, and into the light of the truth.

Psalms 119:142 Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Your law is truth.

Shalom my friends,

P.S.

What happened to me is a clear indication that he can’t use us until we are broken before Him, and surrendered to His will.

Ask Yahshua to show you, you’re calling, and be prepared for what may come!

All I have to do is love Him!

“If you love Me, keep My commandments.
And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
(John 14:15-18)

I can’t tell you how many times I sat through a Sunday service and heard prayer after prayer for the gifts of the Holy Spirit. And why is it that those gifts are so sparse in the traditional Church, when the Word of God should be flowing fourth Like a swollen river.

One pastor suggested that we should look for the reason that the Holy Spirit was not making its presence known in that Congregation.

I’m not saying that there was never any evidence of the Holy Spirit. But what I am saying is that it was not the driving force in worship and in the practices of that church.

And after much study and prayer, here is what I discovered.

Christ Himself pointed out the problem when He said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” (Vs 15)

Apparently keeping the commandments is key to loving Him, and key to the pouring out of the Holy Spirit, because that’s what follows on the heels of His, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” Statement.

He says, “And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.  (Vs 16, 17)

I don’t know about everyone else, but to me he is saying that when we truly love Him the Holy Spirit comes to us, and will be with us, or in us. He abides with us!

In other words. He does not pour our His Spirit in those who do not love Him enough to do as He says, and follow His example, or His Way.

Perhaps this has something to do with why the original Church was called “The Followers of the Way”. (See Acts chapter 2)

He also said, that the world could not receive this Holy Spirit, “the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him;” (Vs 17)

So, those of us who are in and of the world, will not be able to know this Spirit of Truth. In other words, they will be deceived.

The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
And for this reason, God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
(2nd Thessalonians 2:9-12)

He says, “but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.” (Vs 17) He is speaking to those who have committed their lives to Him, and who surely love Him.

When Christ Yahshua speaks, we must understand that the living Word of God is speaking to us. And when He repeats Himself, it is so that we will lean forward to listen because it is important. And what he says in the next few verses is to make it absolutely clear, that when we belong wholly to Him, things will happen in our lives that are by no means ordinary.

He says again, “He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” (John 14:21)

Consider How He and the Father might manifest themselves in our lives?

Right!

The Holy Spirit comes and dwells in us, and the gifts of the Spirit of God manifest in our lives.

And here is why he says, “I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
(John 10:9, 10)

Here is the culmination of everything we have been instructed to do, By His Spirit. We will know that he is the way, the truth, and the Life, and follow Him. But a thief, or a person who pretends to be something he is not, will not obey God, but cause dissention among the sheep, bringing sin into the flock. (a reference to the Lawless one, or Anti-Christ.)

But Christ Yahshua will bring life, in a way that events will cause our lives to be more abundant. We will see and experience life more deeply because of his indwelling Spirit.

When my Savior opened my eyes to these things, I discovered that I was seeking after the gifts of the Spirit ever since I was a Child. I wanted to be a healer, and wanted to know the future, I wanted to be powerful in prayer, and more than anything I wanted wisdom. He has put all of these things within my reach, all I have to do is love Him, which is so easy!

We love Him because He first loved us. (1st John 4:19)

Shalom my friends,

Chuck Greever

My sheep know my voice!

Exodus 20:8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work,
10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates.
11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore, the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

Behold the 4th Commandments as it was handed down to the people of God at Sinai. Here YHWH God tells the redeemed that they must keep the Sabbath Day Holy, for he has made it Holy.

“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.” (Vs 8)

And then He says, “For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore, the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.” (Vs 11)

How is it that we think that because someone decided to remain in fellowship beyond sunset on the Sabbath that we can transfer God’s Sabbath to another day? Do we not understand How diabolical that is? To take What is Holy and make it common?

“Her priests have violated My law and profaned My holy things; they have not distinguished between the holy and unholy, nor have they made known the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they have hidden their eyes from My Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them.” (Ezekiel 22:26)

God knows what evil we have done, and it will not go unrewarded.

“And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.” (Revelation 22:12)

Needless to say, this goes for those who have done good works according to His Commandments, but it will also include rewards for those who have profaned His Sabbaths. We will all be judged according to His Commandments!

The same Commandments that he kept for the whole world to witness as an example that thy must follow.

1st John 2:3 Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.
4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.
6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.

Our failure to keep them is an indication that we have not known Yahshua Christ / Jesus. And therefore, are not acquainted with the truth. Keeping his Word is key to having possession of the Holy Spirit. (The Spirit of truth) Therefore if we follow Christ Yahshua, by keeping his Word, it will show in How we live our lives.

We who follow Him, do no work on the Sabbath. We won’t cause anyone else to work either, or allow it in our household. He has set aside the 7th day from the very beginning at the completion of creation. Here is where it was made Holy, ever since day 7.

“If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.
He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.”
(John 14:23, 24)

God knows that those who turn from the Word of God, neither love Him, or Follow Him. But they are just trying to use Him to get into heaven. Let me tell you now that if you intend to go to Heaven / The Kingdom, unless you’re abiding in Christ, it can’t happen.

John 10:1 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
2 But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
3 To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.

There are no shortcuts, we must enter by the Gate. And Yahshua Christ is the gate.

“I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.” (John 10:9)

Pay attention to what he has said, and obey. This is how his sheep roll. We don’t get to make it up as we go! Our Salvation has been written in the scriptures, if we’re not going to follow what has been written, then perhaps, we should just accept who it is that has become our master.

2nd Thessalonians 2:7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only £He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.
8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.
9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,
10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,
12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

 Shalom my friends,

Do not Stand before Him lawless!

John 14:15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments.
16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—
17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

There is no other Savior that has ever set foot in this World. Here is Yahshua Christ the Messiah who came but for one purpose, and that is to redeem Israel, who was lost because of their lawlessness.

And this great love that compelled His sacrifice at the cross, was for all of us who would come desiring to return to YHWH God.

So, understand that this is the path to recover what was lost, but now has been found, in Christ Yahshua. If we are committed to Christ then we have been adopted, and grafted into the house of Israel.

Thus, we are told, “For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus / Yahshua.
For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus / Yahshua.
And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. (Galatians 3:26-29)

We are no longer without a Father. For we have repented of our Past wrongs, and have been brought home to Yahshua and the Father. Consider for a moment that over a huge expanse of time, He never forgot about His Sons and Daughters.

Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5)

So, repentance and change in the way that we live is key to remaining His. We must never return to the sinful and Lawless life that we once had, for we have been redeemed. For now, that we have returned to The Father we have been given a spirit of holiness, or a Holy Spirit. This is how He, Yahshua Manifests Himself to us.

John 14:21 “He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”

We must not do anything to offend or grieve the Holy Spirit. For this what binds us to Yahshua Christ.

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. (Ephesians 4:30)

The sin that cuts us off from God is defined by the Ten Commandments, just as they were handed down to the redeemed at Sinai. This is why I continue to call upon the redeemed today to keep them, just as Christ did.

He said, “If you love me, (or if you belong to me,) “Keep my Commandments.”

This is the Way He wants us to love Him and the Father!

And the Apostle John tells us the same thing, saying, “Whoever believes that Yahshua / Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him.
By this we know that we love the children of YHWH God, when we love God and keep His commandments.
For this is the love of YHWH God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.” (1st John 5:1-4)

So, I beg of you, if you have come to Christ, but do not guard His Commandments, you are outside of His great love, until there is heartfelt remorse, and repentance. Return to Him while the opportunity still exists.

So many of us are claiming Christ but still violate the Word of God habitually, And the Sabbath is simply good evidence of that state of affairs, (the 4th commandment.)

Our having abandoned the Commandments of YHWH God, on even one count, has made the Church Lawless. And why He said, “Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice LAWLESSNESS!
’” (Matthew 7:22, 23)

I pray that he will not look upon us as a Lawless people, but be merciful. But everything said in the scriptures indicate otherwise. It would break my heart to see well intentioned people turned away because they refused to keep the Word of God. Especially while it’s so easy to remedy.

Do not stand before Him lawless!

Shalom my friends,

Chuck Greever

YHWH God has a plan!

11“Then you came near and stood at the foot of the mountain, and the mountain burned with fire to the midst of heaven, with darkness, cloud, and thick darkness.
12And the Lord spoke to you out of the midst of the fire. You heard the sound of the words, but saw no form; you only heard a voice.
13So He declared to you His covenant which He commanded you to perform, the Ten Commandments; and He wrote them on two tablets of stone.
14And the Lord commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that you might observe them in the land which you cross over to possess.

YHWH God is not like a man, but try as we might to know everything about Him, it escapes us. But here’s what we do know. He created the heavens and the earth and all that’s in them. He is all powerful, omniscient, and omnipresent.

He has given us commandments as a part of our Covenant relationship, and we are expected to abide by them. The same YHWH God that created us, and gave us breath, and life, has made a sacred agreement with us. So, let’s take a look at what the terms of that agreement are. And what are our chances of living if we violate that agreement.

Deuteronomy 5:6 ‘I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
7 ‘You shall have no other gods before Me.
8 ‘You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;
9 you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,
10 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
11 ‘You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
12 ‘Observe the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, as the Lord your God commanded you.
13 Six days you shall labor and do all your work,
14 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your ox, nor your donkey, nor any of your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates, that your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you.
15 And remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God brought you out from there by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm; therefore, the Lord your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.
16 ‘Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you, that your days may be long, and that it may be well with you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
17 ‘You shall not murder.
18 ‘You shall not commit adultery.

19 ‘You shall not steal.
20 ‘You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
21 ‘You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife; and you shall not desire your neighbor’s house, his field, his male servant, his female servant, his ox, his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor’s.’

These are our marriage vows, and these vows are not difficult to understand, but know this, that they may go against our basic nature. Therefore, some folks claim they are impossible to keep. However, that is not true. That complaint comes from those who find it difficult to change, because the commandments will transform us into a loving and caring person, and bring us into fellowship with like-minded people just like us.

So why does YHWH God want to see us change? Perhaps it’s because of what he intended for us from the beginning.

Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
8 The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed.
9 And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Then:

15 Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.
16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat;
17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

Then:

21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place.
22 Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.
23 And Adam said: “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.”

Genesis 3:4 Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die.
5 For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

6 So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.
7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.
8 And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.
9 Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?”
10 So he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.”
11 And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?”
12 Then the man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.”
13 And the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

So, what started out as a type of heaven ended up being the fall of man. YHWH God has created a beautiful place, and beautiful people to live in it. And the first time man disobeyed YHWH God, it all came crashing down.

Up until that time the Lord was able to walk in the garden and enjoy His creation, and fellowship with His man and woman that he had created. From day one, is has been our disobedience that has separated us from our creator.

He wants to regain His creation, so that he can once again have fellowship with us, His people.

So, what is stopping Him?

The same thing that put an end to it in the beginning. Our choosing to continue to opt for evil rather than the Good. And just like Adam and Eve, we want to be like God.

Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” (Vs.4, 5)

Clearly YHWH God has a plan, but if we will not keep the Covenant and obey His Word, we are doing more harm than good to the future of what he has planned for us.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

Everything that has happened from the beginning has been for the purpose of giving us the wisdom that we have lacked, and bringing us home to Him.

So now we know why Yahshua said, “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.
Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. (Matthew 7:13, 14)

Those who resist YHWH God’s plan of redemption will not enter the Kingdom of Elohim.

So, I have to remind you yet again, of the words of Yahshua Messiah: “If you love Me, keep My commandments.
And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.” (John 14:15-18)

It is nice to know that he will not leave us Fatherless / Orphans. What a loving assurance!

Shalom my friends,

Chuck Greever

The Commandments are food for the good in us!

Deuteronomy 10:12 “And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul,
13 and to keep the commandments of the Lord and His statutes which I command you today for your good?

The commandments have been given to us for a purpose. They are for our own good. So that we will know good from evil, and conduct ourselves accordingly before a righteous and Holy God.

“And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul,” (Vs 12)

We will live in this world until we depart from it in death, and then we will either return to our Creator or be relegated to whatever is left.

Yahshua spoke of our final destruction at His coming saying: “The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels.
Therefore, as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age.
The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
(Matthew 13:39-42)

There is a final disposition for every soul, on the basis of who their God is. In one camp their god is eternal death, but in the other is eternal life. But YHWH God does not accept evil into His Kingdom.

And Here is why: This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. (1st John 1:5, 6)

He is light and there is no darkness in Him, YHWH God the Father, has zero tolerance for darkness, or evil. And if we do not know the difference between good and evil, we are in jeopardy of being cast out.

So, the commandments are key to our conversion from evil to good. If we do not know them, and understand the thought behind them, then we have no way to know good from evil, and righteousness from unrighteousness. Nor can we know how to love one another.

“and to keep the commandments of the Lord and His statutes which I command you today for your good?” (Vs 13)

Thus, the keeping of the Commandments are for our own good. So that we do not live a life of lawlessness and iniquity, but we can strive for the sake of that which is in us that is good, and not evil.

Among our native American friends, there is this story of how in each of us there are two wolves, one is white, the other is black, and these two wolves fight constantly, and the one that wins is dominant. So, which one will win in our lives is determined by one factor alone, it is the one we feed!

The Commandments are the food for the good in us?

Yahshua said, “He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” (John 14:21)

Shalom my friends,

Chuck Greever

Try entering heaven after having disrespected God’s Word.

Deuteronomy 4:2 “You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.”

This is the voice of our creator speaking to His Children, telling them that he requires them to obey the Commandments he has handed down, that is their part of The covenant agreement He has entered into with them, and His motive for bringing them out of bondage in Egypt.

These are the commandments God handed down:

Deuteronomy 5:6 ‘I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
7 ‘You shall have no other gods before Me.
8 ‘You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;

Nowhere can we find in the scriptures that he changed them! And what’s more, He sent His only Son into this world to keep them as an example to the people of God, and then to die for their sins to be forgiven. Had he not kept God’s Word faithfully, there would be no propitiation for our sins. For the Lamb of God had to be without blemish.

But now we have so-called ministers of the gospel of Christ telling us that God changed His Sabbath, and that we don’t have to obey these Commandments, which are the Word of God and the basis for everything the Word of God says from here forward.

They imply this and that, but cannot even in the smallest way demonstrate to us that God changed His 4th Commandment, The Sabbath. There is no such Statement anywhere in the Word of God.

But there is this:

Deuteronomy 4:2 “You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.”

We have done anything to avoid the keeping of YHWH God’s Word. So here is what has resulted! The loss of His blessings. Starvation, famine, disease, disasters after disasters, wars, and killing of even unborn children. Unbelief abounds, and why do we not believe?

Could it be that people know in their Spirit that they have been lied to, by these false teachers? And where do we go for the truth?

Once I discovered that I could not find anyone who could teach me the truth, I prayed to Yahshua, and asked Him to be my teacher. And what you see in my messages are a product of His faithfulness to that prayer. He is my teacher, and what I am telling you. Is the result of what He has done in my life.

“If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”  (John 7:37, 38)

Now, you don’t have to believe me, but you must believe Him, if you want to be a part of His Kingdom.

Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice LAWLESSNESS!’

Try entering heaven after having disrespecting God’s Word, and turned away from His Commandments. Even transgressing one of them deliberately, will be the equivalent of violating all of them.

James 2:10 For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.
11For He who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.” Now if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.

So, violating the 4th Commandment without repentance, makes us as if we never knew God’s Commandments. We are lawless, for all intents and purposes.

And he will do just as he said he would, in Matthew 7:23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice LAWLESSNESS!’

Do we really want to wait until he comes to Judge us, to find out if what He says is true?

Or would we rather submit to Him, and Keep His Word, honoring the Father’s commandments, just as he did.

1st John 2:4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.
6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.

Shalom my friends,

Chuck Greever

You shall be a witness!

Here is the 4th of the 10 Commandments, and it serves as an indictment to the Lawless church, and those who participate in its Lawlessness.

YHWH God said, “Speak also to the children of Israel, saying: ‘Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies you.
14You shall keep the Sabbath, therefore, for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from among his people.
15Work shall be done for six days, but the seventh is the Sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
16Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant.
17It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel forever; for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’”
  (Exodus 31:13-17)

We have among us those who refuse to keep God’s commandments, and what we have here is the proof of their sin! For they call us brother and sister, but turn from God’s Word on this one point, they refuse to keep God’s Sabbath or to repent of it, and I say that we cannot have fellowship with such people according to the Word of YHWH God.

My friends, if you keep the commandments of God, you are walking in the light, and going against the majority. You do well in His sight. So, what business do we have with dead people, except to bring them into the light and love of Yahshua?

If they will not repent and refuse to hear us, then kick the dust from your shoes, and leave them to their own god.

Matthew 10:13 “If the household is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.
14 And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet.
15 Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!”

These are the instructions that Yahshua Christ gave to His disciples, as he sent them out to deliver His Gospel. Entire cities will be destroyed because of their transgression before a just and righteous Elohim. No one can walk in darkness and expect to be saved.

1st John 1:5 This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

We don’t have to be a genius in order to understand that YHWH God gave us commandments for a reason. So that we would act like we belong to Him, and love Him. And so that we would not do harm to another, but love our neighbor as ourselves.

How on earth can we say that we belong to Yahshua Christ and violate everything He stands for? Did He not walk according to these Commandments as an example to us? And if He had not kept them, how then could he have been a proper offering for our sins to be forgiven?

The Apostle John tells us plainly, “Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.” (1st John 3:24)

Violating His Sabbath will cause many to lose their salvation not because they didn’t keep it but because they never repent of their sin. Thus, this unrepented sin proves their lawlessness, and their sin remains on them even as they stand before His judgment seat.

Get away from associating with these individuals, but make certain that they know and understand that their sin is why we cannot fellowship with them.

2nd Corinthians 6:14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?
15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?
16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them and walk among them.

I will be their God, and they shall be My people.”

17 Therefore, “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.”
18 “I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”

We must not have anything to do with those who know to keep God’s commandments and refuse, for they are the Apostate Church. They are the property of the Anti-Christ, the Lawless one.

Now that the truth has been revealed, please understand who our Savior is, and do according to the Will of YHWH God the Father, just as he did. We are His witnesses, and the evidence of this is in our Testimony.

Be a witness to the truth, and quit play games with the enemy! Take care of the calling on our lives!

Ezekiel 33:8 When I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you shall surely die!’ and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand.
9 Nevertheless if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.

The testimony YHWH God gave us, is there for us to use to bring them out of harm’s way. Use it for it’s intended purpose.  Be a witness, bearing the truth of His Word!

Did our Savior not say, “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)

How on earth can anyone contain this truth and not share it is beyond my understanding.

Shalom my friends,

Chuck Greever

Dear Family, How special you are to me!

Matthew 12:46 While He was still talking to the multitudes, behold, His mother and brothers stood outside, seeking to speak with Him.
47 Then one said to Him, “Look, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, seeking to speak with You.”
48 But He answered and said to the one who told Him, “Who is My mother and who are My brothers?”
49 And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers!
50 For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.”

Here we see that Yahshua’s mother and brothers came to see Him. But we must understand now, that His Father has become the predominate concern of His life and everything and everyone that does not feed into that, must take a back seat. They are of no real concern to Him, and where they interfere with what YHWH God is doing with His Son, they will be left behind.

Mark 3:21 But when His own people heard about this, they went out to lay hold of Him, for they said, “He is out of His mind.”

We need to take note of the fact that His family came out to Him, because they thought that He was insane. He was doing things that to them were impossible.

And the Temple priest were incensed at the things that he had said about their religious practices, which probably led His family to conclude such a thing about Him.

They had come to question him!

One of His disciples said, “Look, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, seeking to speak with You.” (Vs 47)

He knows what they want, and he knows that they are there. How insane is that?

His response is, “Who is My mother and who are My brothers?” (Vs 48)

So now we can question who is really on our side, or could it be that we are unequally yoked with unbelievers. So, this is really what is going here. They have no faith in Him!  His Family does not believe in the Son of God. How is that possible? Did his mother forget who impregnated Her?

Perhaps it is more a case of peer pressure.

And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers!
For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.”
(Vs 49, 50)

He has applied the love of God to His relationship with those who believe in Who and what He is. His own Family did not yet believe, but they will. So, He draws a line that will not allow them to influence Him from a place of unbelief.

I have done the same thing with my family, including my ex-wife. There is no room in my life for anyone who tries to take me away from my faith in Yahshua Christ, and the path I must walk. And if we recall, He said that we must distance ourselves from such people.

“Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.
For I have come to ‘set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’; and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’
He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.
And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.
He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.
“He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.”
(Matthew 10:34-40)

So those who read and share these words of exhortation are now my Family, and I love you with the love of Yahshua Christ!

Shalom my brothers and Sisters,

Chuck Greever
