The Key to living free!

Joshua 7:2 Now Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which is beside Beth Aven, on the east side of Bethel, and spoke to them, saying, “Go up and spy out the country.” So, the men went up and spied out Ai.
3 And they returned to Joshua and said to him, “Do not let all the people go up, but let about two or three thousand men go up and attack Ai. Do not weary all the people there, for the people of Ai are few.”
4 So about three thousand men went up there from the people, but they fled before the men of Ai.
5 And the men of Ai struck down about thirty-six men, for they chased them from before the gate as far as Shebarim, and struck them down on the descent; therefore, the hearts of the people melted and became like water.

Joshua was their leader, hand picked and appointed by YHWH God, and Moses, to lead the people of Israel into the land of Israel. We would think that with YHWH God at His back, they could not have suffered defeat.

But they were defeated by an enemy that was not worthy to withstand them, a relatively small city of Ai sent them running from the field of battle.

So why was this?

6 Then Joshua tore his clothes, and fell to the earth on his face before the ark of the Lord until evening, he and the elders of Israel; and they put dust on their heads.
7 And Joshua said, “Alas, Lord GOD, why have You brought this people over the Jordan at all—to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us? Oh, that we had been content, and dwelt on the other side of the Jordan!
8 O Lord, what shall I say when Israel turns its back before its enemies?
9 For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land will hear it, and surround us, and cut off our name from the earth. Then what will You do for Your great name?”
10 So the Lord said to Joshua: “Get up! Why do you lie thus on your face?
11 Israel has sinned, and they have also transgressed My covenant which I commanded them. For they have even taken some of the accursed things, and have both stolen and deceived; and they have also put it among their own stuff.
12 Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they have become doomed to destruction. Neither will I be with you anymore, unless you destroy the accursed from among you.
13 Get up, sanctify the people, and say, ‘Sanctify yourselves for tomorrow, because thus says the Lord God of Israel: “There is an accursed thing in your midst, O Israel; you cannot stand before your enemies until you take away the accursed thing from among you.”
14 In the morning therefore you shall be brought according to your tribes. And it shall be that the tribe which the Lord takes shall come according to families; and the family which the Lord takes shall come by households; and the household which the Lord takes shall come man by man.
15 Then it shall be that he who is taken with the accursed thing shall be burned with fire, he and all that he has, because he has transgressed the covenant of the Lord, and because he has done a disgraceful thing in Israel.’”
16 So Joshua rose early in the morning and brought Israel by their tribes, and the tribe of Judah was taken.
17 He brought the clan of Judah, and he took the family of the Zarhites; and he brought the family of the Zarhites man by man, and Zabdi was taken.
18 Then he brought his household man by man, and Achan the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, was taken.
19 Now Joshua said to Achan, “My son, I beg you, give glory to the Lord God of Israel, and make confession to Him, and tell me now what you have done; do not hide it from me.”
20 And Achan answered Joshua and said, “Indeed I have sinned against the Lord God of Israel, and this is what I have done:
21 When I saw among the spoils a beautiful Babylonian garment, two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold weighing fifty shekels, I coveted them and took them. And there they are, hidden in the earth in the midst of my tent, with the silver under it.”
22 So Joshua sent messengers, and they ran to the tent; and there it was, hidden in his tent, with the silver under it.
23 And they took them from the midst of the tent, brought them to Joshua and to all the children of Israel, and laid them out before the Lord.
24 Then Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, the silver, the garment, the wedge of gold, his sons, his daughters, his oxen, his donkeys, his sheep, his tent, and all that he had, and they brought them to the Valley of Achor.
25 And Joshua said, “Why have you troubled us? The Lord will trouble you this day.” So, all Israel stoned him with stones; and they burned them with fire after they had stoned them with stones.
26 Then they raised over him a great heap of stones, still there to this day. So, the Lord turned from the fierceness of His anger. Therefore, the name of that place has been called the Valley of Achor to this day.

The Lord will not fight for us, if we are disobedient to His commands, or His righteous ordinances. If there is one man among His army who violates His instructions / Torah then we can expect to be defeated. In battle, in business, or in our marriage. Whatever it is that we need the Power of YHWH God to be successful in, we cannot rely on Him in our disobedience.

America is facing a huge challenge now, we have been invaded, and taken over by forces that are totally against our brand of freedom, and human rights. We are now confronted with the choice to either fight or run.

But because of our sin and disobedience we have no choice but to flee, at this point. God will not stand at the back of those who refuse to honor His commandments. But when we opt to change (Repent) of our sinful ways, and to live as we have been instructed, Then, perhaps we may be led to take our country back, and live as though we are the people of YHWH God.

It makes no difference if we have a Joshua, or a George Washington, to lead us. If we cannot stop violating the Commandments of God, they cannot help us, and neither will YHWH God.

Deuteronomy 11:26 “Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse:
27 the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you today;
28 and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known.”

Yahshua sees our disobedience to His Commandments as refusing to love or accept His sovereignty over us, our disobedience then becomes idolatry as far as He is concerned. If we will not obey God, then who’s voice are we listening to? We therefore must have adopted some other god. Perhaps we have become a god unto ourselves at that point.

We Must Change. Repent and return to the Way of Christ!

John 14:23 “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.
24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.”

Shalom my Friends,

Chuck Greever

Following Christ!

Matthew 23:27 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness.
28 Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.

Matthew 24:12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.

Matthew 13:41 The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness,
42and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 7:23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Yahshua Christ had a lot to say about lawlessness, and to what end? He said over and over again that lawlessness will be the cause of our losing our salvation.

So, we can call on the name of Christ Yahshua all day long for a lifetime, but when judgment comes, we will all be judged by the Commandments of YHWH God. And if we are found to have violated His Commandments, that sin will be charged to us and we must answer for it!

Our eternal life will then be in jeopardy, because we have been found to be lawless.

Understand my friends that I am not saying that we can’t be excused for our lawless behavior. Our being forgiven requires that we repent / change. We must stop it, and return to the ancient way. Excuses will not help us!

For Christ will say to those who have been calling Him Lord, Lord, ‘‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’’

Now, many will say that we are not saved by the Law of God, even those who are keeping the law.

But understand this, once you have been set apart by Yahshua for salvation, if we do not follow His Word, we will be turned away. We cannot come to Christ and then violate everything He stands for!

The Apostle John makes this very clear.

Saying: “This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.” (1st John 1:5, 6)

And the Apostle Paul makes it even more clear saying, “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness?” (2nd Corinthians 6:14)

In other words, our Lawlessness is seen as unbelief.

So. continuing to violate God’s Sabbath, that my friends is the same as saying that we don’t love YHWH God. And continuing to Lie, cheat, lust, hate, and covet, then we are making a statement by our actions / deeds, that we do not love our neighbor as ourselves.

Matthew 24:12 “And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.”

There are huge numbers of people who are not living according to the teachings of Christ, although they profess His name. I’m not saying that they are bad people, but they just do not have a clear understanding of what Living as Christ means. How can we call Him Lord, and not follow His teachings?

He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.
He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. (1st John 2:4-6)

All I am saying here, is if you love Him, then follow in His footsteps, Keep the same Commandments that he kept. Listen to what He said, for He taught the commandments of YHWH God at every turn. And lived it as an example for us to follow.

Believe me when I repeat His words, “‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’”

Shalom my friends,

Chuck Greever

Repent, return, and live!

Jeremiah 11:1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,
2 “Hear the words of this covenant, and speak to the men of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem;
3 and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God of Israel: “Cursed is the man who does not obey the words of this covenant
4 which I commanded your fathers in the day I brought them out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, ‘Obey My voice, and do according to all that I command you; so shall you be My people, and I will be your God,’
5 that I may establish the oath which I have sworn to your fathers, to give them ‘a land flowing with milk and honey,’ as it is this day.”’” And I answered and said, “So be it, Lord.”
6 Then the Lord said to me, “Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying: ‘Hear the words of this covenant and do them.
7 For I earnestly exhorted your fathers in the day I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, until this day, rising early and exhorting, saying, “Obey My voice.”
8 Yet they did not obey or incline their ear, but everyone followed the dictates of his evil heart; therefore, I will bring upon them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do, but which they have not done.’”

Every Prophet worth His weight in salt will call us back to The Covenant with Yahshua. And when the Word came to Jeremiah, that is what He was called to do.

The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying, “Hear the words of this covenant, and speak to the men of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God of Israel: “Cursed is the man who does not obey the words of this covenant which I commanded your fathers in the day I brought them out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, ‘Obey My voice, and do according to all that I command you; so shall you be My people, and I will be your God,’ (Vs 1-4)

Today we have the same set of circumstances. We have learned the ways of Gentiles, and have abandoned the Covenant with YHWH God. For 18 centuries we have followed the Doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church, who had adopted Pagan ways into their doctrine and called it Christianity.

And now we call ourselves the Body of Christ? May it not be so!

Christ Yahshua would never have allowed us to practice things that came out of Idol worship. But that didn’t seem to matter to them. So now we worship Christmas, Easter, and lent, none of which is biblical.

But what’s worse, is that we have spurned God’s own Sabbath, and adopted the Pagan Sunday Sabbath. The Church as it was in the second Chapter of Acts, no longer exists.

So just as other prophets have done, I am compelled by the Holy Spirit to call you back to the Covenant that was made by our ancestors Centuries ago. The covenant that we Christians have abandoned saying it’s too hard to keep.

And I agree with you! It’s much easier to walk according to the way of men, than it is according to the Way of Christ. But it is not impossible!

1st John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.

God would not ask us to do the impossible. Walking the narrow path is not a walk in the park, but it’s not that hard to live according to God’s will.

No doubt this is why He said, “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.
Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”
(Matthew 7:13, 14)

The way of obedience to YHWH God is the only way we’ll ever see heaven; He has not changed even a dot or a tittle of His covenant with us. So, this is a plea to save the lives of people who have been Lied to and deceived, by those who have come out of the enemy’s camp.

that I may establish the oath which I have sworn to your fathers, to give them ‘a land flowing with milk and honey,’ as it is this day.”’” And I answered and said, “So be it, Lord.”
Then the Lord said to me, “Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying: ‘Hear the words of this covenant and do them.
(Vs 5, 6)

I am here to tell you that if we do not listen to this outcry, we will perish. There can be no eternal life for those who make it a habit to sin! And just the fact that we abstain weekly from God’s own Sabbath announces to the whole world that we are not His Children.

Exodus 31:16 Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant.
17 It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel forever; for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’”

“For I earnestly exhorted your fathers in the day I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, until this day, rising early and exhorting, saying, “Obey My voice.” Yet they did not obey or incline their ear, but everyone followed the dictates of his evil heart; therefore, I will bring upon them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do, but which they have not done.’”  (Vs 7, 8)

For thousands of years as it is recorded in the scriptures, He has insisted that His children must keep His Commandments, but we think we know better than our creator.

How foolish we are to stand before God, when we ought to be on our faces. How inane is to tell Him no! I’m not going to live the way You say.

Yahshua speaks of you when he says, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’”
(Matthew 7:21-23)

I know that many of us will continue in our false doctrine, rather than open our eyes to the truth, but still, I must say this too you. It is written, that those who do these things with be taken by Yahshua’s own Angels, and cast into the furnace, and they will go weeping and angry.

The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
(Matthew 13:41-43)

I will continue to cry out to my friends with this message. Up until the very day that Yahshua descends. For what is required is our repentance, and a return to the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Did He not say, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)

And then He called us back to His Commandments saying, “If you love me, Keep my Commandments.” (John 14:15)

Shalom my friends,

Chuck Greever

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. (Hosea 4:6)

2nd Timothy 4:1 I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom:
2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;
4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.
5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

We are living in a time, when with few exceptions we cannot hear the truth preached in most Churches. But be forewarned this is going to change! God is restoring His Church.

And Paul is issuing this warning for a reason. To remind us that we must return to the truth of God’s Word and depart from man’s doctrine.

I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. (Vs 1, 2)

When He comes and Judgment takes place, His Judgment will be based on something our Pastor’s seem to know nothing about, (God’s Law) and therefore, everyone under their teaching will be subject to being cast into that furnace called Hell.

The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. (Matthew 13:41, 42)

Every week the Sabbath that God ordained is ignored and therefore, the 4th Commandment is violated by most Churches. In other words, Sin is the normal operating procedure, and there has to this day been no repentance for it. A lie has taken the place of truth.

We are taught to keep Days and weeks that have nothing to do with God’s appointed times. But rather are the practices of Pagan Idol worshipers. Christmas, Easter, and Lent, to just name a few. And some churches even involve themselves in Halloween, and Valentine’s day.

Not knowing the Commandments of God, separates us from Christ who kept all of God’s commandments faithfully, as an example. But while we say that we follow Christ, we don’t follow the example He gave us. Therefore, we lie, and do not tell the truth.

Matthew 5:17 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.
18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.
19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”

These Commandments are still in effect until Heaven and Earth pass away. (Vs 18)

And a preacher that does not teach His congregation the Commandments and demonstrate how to walk in them is considered unworthy by heaven’s standards. But the one who teaches them is considered not just worthy, but great in His calling.

Understand that this is not just idle Chit Chat, but this is your judge and king speaking, I am quoting the Words of Christ, the living Word of God!

Matthew 5:20 “For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.”

Without God’s law, how can we achieve a righteousness that is better than the Pharisees? We must at some point put away our False doctrine and return to the commandments of God, or forget about eternal life.

3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;
4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. (Vs 3, 4)

Now perhaps we can begin to see How Satan has been working to Deceive us. We don’t want to have to go out of our way to obey God’s Commandments, so He tells us what we want to hear. The net result is that we can claim to be a believer, but one who thinks we have no responsibility toward our Savior.

There has always been a covenant between YHWH God, and His people, and if we are not going to keep it, how can we say that we are His.

John 14:21 “He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”

John 15:4 “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.”

We have been called to abide in Christ! But perhaps that’s too difficult for us?

The Apostle John speaks of our predicament perhaps better than anyone saying, “He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.
He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.” (1st John 2:4-6)

Consider what is being said here, and let it sink in. Choose whatever truth you want to believe, but understand our choices have consequences.

James 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.

Shalom my friends,

Chuck Greever

Even the birds are fed by His hand!

Matthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.  25 “Therefore, I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

I have seen the time when everything in my life seemed to require my worrying over them, for I was in control of my life, or so I thought.

I also thought that if I needed anything, it was me who had to provide it, by working and earning the money that could buy the things I needed. Yahshua has shown me the error in that kind of thought, for He is able to fill all of my needs out of thin air.

“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” (Vs 24)

Our concern needs to be our calling, and our right living, and He will relieve us of our worry and concern over what we need. Our relationship and our dependency on a supernatural Elohim is where all good things come. Never allow our desire for Money or things tear us away from being totally dependent on Yahshua.

He and the Father will come to us and manifest Himself to us, when we draw near to Him, and the source of all life becomes our Father.

“Therefore, I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?” (Vs 25)

I remember a time when I had given everything I had away, because I felt that my possessions were keeping me from being closer to my Savior, and I wanted to know Him so badly. We even gave away our car, and all we had was in my backpack.

We left Virginia, and caught a ride to Black Mountain, North Carolina, and we signed up to paint hotel rooms at Montreat (Baptist retreat Center) to make a little money. But we needed a place to stay, and on the way to get the painting job, we passed a house with little cabins all around it. the Holy Spirit said to me, “This is where you’ll be staying.”

So, after signing up for painting, I went to that house and knocking on the door the nicest lady came to the door. I asked about the cabins and she said, that she couldn’t let us have one of those because they weren’t ready, they needed to be cleaned before the season began for visitors to come.

My heart sunk, thinking that I was wrong about this place, but only for a moment. As she said, “But come on in, I think I have something for you.” She led us to the upstairs, where there was a fully furnished apartment. And Said, “You can stay here.” There were linin’s, dishes, and even some food in the pantry.

And she left my wife and I, saying, “You can pay when you get paid for painting.” A very modest rent. I sat down on the sofa and looking up, I saw a poster on the wall, a picture of some birds in a wheat field, and the caption said,

“Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?” (Vs 26, 27)

I could not hold back my tears. For I knew that He had brought us to this place, and was providing for us beyond my fondest hopes. That was His affirmation, that Yahshua / Jesus was my benefactor, and was with me in that supernatural way that all of us need to know and recognize.

He is still with me today, and it still blows my mind when he does the things He does. I love Him so!

Had I not sought Him out, and changed my life so as to open the door to a full-blown relationship I probably would have only known about Him, instead of knowing Him.

Believe me when I say, “There is nothing in this world that compares to Knowing Christ.”

“And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13)

Shalom my friends,

Chuck Greever

The Remnant awaits His Call.

Deuteronomy 30:15 “See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil,
16 in that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess.
17 But if your heart turns away so that you do not hear, and are drawn away, and worship other gods and serve them,
18 I announce to you today that you shall surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to go in and possess.
19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;
20 that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.”

Living by the Commandments Is what preserves the blessings that YHWH God has poured out on any nation, not just Israel! Do we not know that we would not be here had he not moved the hearts of our ancestors to depart from their former homes to come to this New World?

And what did we do when we arrived here, but get on our knees and give thanks that our Elohim had delivered us from the dangers of sea travel and brought us safely to this homeland. We lived among the native tribes, still praying that we might remain in this land. Prayer dedicated this land to YHWH God, and made it a refuge for believers. And when we fought to be free of our former rulers and to establish our own Government, surely our Elohim brought us through that according to His providence.

We were at that time very much a nation of people who kept the commandments of YHWH God.

“See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, in that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess.” (Vs 15, 16)

So here we are in a land blessed in no small way by YHWH God. We have even commissioned a Bible to be put into print for Americans, by an act of congress. So that no American would be ignorant of God’s Word.

But if your heart turns away so that you do not hear, and are drawn away, and worship other gods and serve them, I announce to you today that you shall surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to go in and possess. (Vs 17, 18)

The more YHWH God blessed this country, the more prideful we became, and the more sin began to abound. Then our enemies became a danger to us and once again we went to our knees and prayed that our God would see us through two world wars. And when we were victorious it seems that we returned to be even more corrupt, and more likely to serve other gods.

Here is what I mean: “Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse: the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you today; and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known.”  (Deuteronomy 11:26-28)

When we cease to come to YHWH God in obedience to His Word, the Commandments, then He knows that we have adopted some other god of our own making. And that brings curses. Our Elohim is a jealous God! thus we bring upon ourselves curses and His wrath.

And even though we know our Creator is the source of all blessings, we still think we are gods, and we can bless ourselves. Well, what He is doing today, is proving to us that we are nothing without Him.

Only a truly evil person would say there is no God, and continue in their own strength. But anyone who truly knows YHWH God, knows that they cannot do this life without Him.

If we continue in our pride, we are sure to reap the whirlwind of His wrath, and this is why I am so certain of what is happening now to my country.

People are going to die by the thousands in this melee. And Yahshua will on the other hand set aside His remnant and give them refuge.

“I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore, choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.” (Vs 19, 20)

Yes, the time is coming that He will lead us Home to Israel, and we await that greater Exodus. That will take us from here to the Home He promised us. I am awaiting His beckoning call to depart from this place, I pray that also are looking to that time!

Shalom my friends,

My God is all about new beginnings.

Deuteronomy 32:18 Of the Rock who begot you, you are unmindful, and have forgotten the God who fathered you.
19 “And when the Lord saw it, He spurned them, because of the provocation of His sons and His daughters.
20 And He said: ‘I will hide My face from them, I will see what their end will be, for they are a perverse generation, children in whom is no faith.
21 They have provoked Me to jealousy by what is not God; They have moved Me to anger by their foolish idols. But I will provoke them to jealousy by those who are not a nation; I will move them to anger by a foolish nation.
22    For a fire is kindled in My anger, and shall burn to the lowest hell; It shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.
23 ‘I will heap disasters on them; I will spend My arrows on them.
24 They shall be wasted with hunger, devoured by pestilence and bitter destruction; I will also send against them the teeth of beasts, with the poison of serpents of the dust.
25 The sword shall destroy outside; There shall be terror within for the young man and virgin, the nursing child with the man of gray hairs.
26 I would have said, “I will dash them in pieces, I will make the memory of them to cease from among men,”

God speaks through His chosen vessel, Moses. And what he says is not a threat, not idle chatter, this is His promise to those who have invoked His holy name. If we call on the Elohim of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, we had better fall into line with His Word. For If we forget that he is YHWH God, He will destroy us. And we are witnessing such an event in America now!

He says, “Of the Rock who begot you, you are unmindful, and have forgotten the God who fathered you.
19 “And when the Lord saw it, He spurned them, because of the provocation of His sons and His daughters.
20 And He said: ‘I will hide My face from them, I will see what their end will be, for they are a perverse generation, children in whom is no faith.”
(Vs 18-20)

Have we become unmindful of YHWH? Have we forgotten our heavenly Father? I see that we have and here are the indications that we have abandoned YHWH God.

  1. We no longer preach or teach His Commandments, nor do we keep them.
  2. We have made it lawful to kill babies, even while they are still in the Womb.
  3. We have made sodomy legal.
  4. And have come against the preaching of the Word in public places. and even prayer.
  5. We have allowed the practice of prejudice and racism.
  6. Children are being preyed upon and sexually abused.
  7. This country has not only abandoned YHWH God but has been turned over to corporations who will do or say anything for a profit.
  8. It is a common practice in today’s churches to twist the Word of God in order to please those who would otherwise not be there. And we think He will bless us for this?

There is more, but only one of these seven insults to God is sufficient to bring his wrath upon us and He is beginning to show us His indignation.

They have provoked Me to jealousy by what is not God; They have moved Me to anger by their foolish idols. But I will provoke them to jealousy by those who are not a nation; I will move them to anger by a foolish nation.
For a fire is kindled in My anger, and shall burn to the lowest hell; It shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.
‘I will heap disasters on them; I will spend My arrows on them.
(Vs 21-23)

Forest Fires, terrible storms, floods, and now a Pandemic, there unrest and political upheaval, pure unabashed Evil is in control of our nation. Lies, and deception abound, and instead of truth we get fake news. Truly YHWH God has been overthrown and Satan has come to rule.

They shall be wasted with hunger, devoured by pestilence and bitter destruction; I will also send against them the teeth of beasts, with the poison of serpents of the dust.
25 The sword shall destroy outside; There shall be terror within for the young man and virgin, the nursing child with the man of gray hairs.
26 I would have said, “I will dash them in pieces, I will make the memory of them to cease from among men,”
(Vs 24-26)

Our heavenly Father is angry and if we think this is the end of it we are mistaken. A nation who has called on God when there is a crisis, and now thinks in their pride that they are more powerful than Him. will find out otherwise.

Those of us who are indeed faithful to YHWH God, Keeping His Commandments, and walking according to His ways, must prepare now, for what is coming. There is going to be a huge event that will take down our power grid, destroying entire cities. Our military will be decimated. And there will be no infrastructure left.

We will be left to live on what we have set aside, and the grace that YHWH God affords His children.

He has no choice but to deal with our Evil in this way. The slate will be cleared. And there will be a new beginning. All of the prophecy in our Bible shouts this to us.

I say yes! let it come. If this has to take place before Christ Yahshua returns, then let it be so.

We may live or we may die, and that has always been the case. But for those who survive, it will be more difficult. Because we have grown lazy, it will be hard to find ourselves living as our ancestors did 200 years ago.

However, it will be our Faith in YHWH God that will bear us up.

And now is the time to go to our knees, and make our peace with Him.

Salvation according to Christ Yahshua!

Mark 10:17 Now as He was going out on the road, one came running, knelt before Him, and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?”
18 So Yahshua / Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God.
19 You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery,’ ‘Do not murder,’ ‘Do not steal,’ ‘Do not bear false witness,’ ‘Do not defraud,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’”
20 And he answered and said to Him, “Teacher, all these things I have kept from my youth.”
21 Then Yahshua / Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.”

The young rich ruler, or just a man, it makes no difference who in particular he is. But what is important, is that this person comes to Christ in order to ask a question that is on the mind of many today. How do I achieve salvation, or eternal life?

Now as He was going out on the road, one came running, knelt before Him, and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?”

And what’s even more important, was that he humbled himself, and was asking from his knees.  Here is the way we must approach our Messiah, the Holy one of Israel. He wasn’t making a demand, or issuing an edict, he simple asked to know how he must be saved. His question was, “what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?” What action should I take to be saved?

Now to me this response is so interesting especially in light of the fact that everyone is saying that the commandments won’t save anyone. But that’s exactly where Yahshua / Jesus went. Coupled with what He says about our being good.

So, Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God.
You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery,’ ‘Do not murder,’ ‘Do not steal,’ ‘Do not bear false witness,’ ‘Do not defraud,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’”
(Vs 18, 19)

Clearly, He is saying that only The Father is good, and He gave us instructions that will lead us into the same kind of goodness as YHWH God Himself. This to me is huge!

Let’s look at what He didn’t say, He didn’t say don’t worry you’re saved by my grace. He didn’t say all you have to do is call on my name.

But what he did say, was that the commandments must be kept and obeyed, and from His own lips He outlines the Ten Commandments.

So, I have to agree with my Savior! What sort of person would I be if I were to contradict the Living Word of God?

Christ Himself said, that keeping YHWH God’s Commandments are essential to those who will be saved. Not Me, not some TV preacher. But the Lord of Heaven and Earth said this!

And he answered and said to Him, “Teacher, all these things I have kept from my youth.”
Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.”
(Vs 20, 21)

He says, he has kept the Commandments from His childhood. And apparently what he is saying was true or Yahshua would have told Him otherwise. So now Yahshua points out to Him the next step to entering into eternal life.

We must enter into His service, becoming His servant. Now here is where many of us have failed! We have allowed other things to interfere with following our Savior. And personal wealth is among those things. Whatever keeps us from being totally committed to Christ, or keeps us from walking in His Way, His Truth, and His life, is against YHWH God’s plan for our lives.

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. (John 15:4)

So Yahshua has called this Man to abide in Him, and to walk according to His example. And we can be absolutely certain that our calling is the same.

He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. (1st John 2:6)

Look at the life that Yahshua Christ led, what he did, and how he did it. He kept the Commandments of YHWH God perfectly so that we would also. He was kind and loving toward others? But at the same time, He was determined to carry out His calling even unto death. He lived and died to please His Father.

This is the Christ that as believer’s we must follow!

“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.
My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.
I and My Father are one.” (John 10:27-30)

Hearing Yahshua’s voice!

John 18:33 Then Pilate entered the Praetorium again, called Jesus, and said to Him, “Are You the King of the Jews?”
34 Yahshua / Jesus answered him, “Are you speaking for yourself about this, or did others tell you this concerning Me?”
35 Pilate answered, “Am I a Jew? Your own nation and the chief priests have delivered You to me. What have You done?”
36 Yahshua / /Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.”
37 Pilate therefore said to Him, “Are You a king then?” Yahshua / Jesus answered, “You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”

When Yahshua was turned over to Pilate, Pilate questioned Him. Yahshua responds and answered Him clearly and concisely.

Then Pilate entered the Praetorium again, called Jesus, and said to Him, “Are You the King of the Jews?”
Yahshua / Jesus answered him, “Are you speaking for yourself about this, or did others tell you this concerning Me?”
 (Vs 33, 34)

He wanted to know if he is asking to satisfy His own curiosity, or did some tell Him that He was the King of all of Israel? Yahshua wants to understand His motives, as if He did not already know.

This was part of the charges brought against Christ Yahshua. The Jews had told Pilate that He claimed to be the king of Israel. And in the Spirit, he was and still is King.

Pilate answered, “Am I a Jew? Your own nation and the chief priests have delivered You to me. What have You done?” (Vs 35)

The Temple Priests, made no distinction between what is of the Spirit and what is of the flesh when it came to their charges. For Christ the Messiah to assume the throne of His people they would have had to recognize Him as King. So there is a difference between being the king without a throne on earth, and being a heavenly king.

Yahshua is King, and wears the crown, but His throne is in heaven. And when He comes to assume His throne on Earth, everyone will bend a knee.

Therefore, God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:9-11)

His Kingdom is not here in this world yet. If it was my servants would fight!

Yahshua answered saying, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.” (Vs 36)

When He returns it will not be as a lamb being led to the slaughter, but as a king that will be hailed by both heaven and Earth. He comes to rule!

Pilate therefore said to Him, “Are You a king then?” Yahshua / Jesus answered, “You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”

Now here is what brings us face to face with the absolute truth about what is about to take place on this Earth. It is the truth that we seek that draws us to, and grounds us in Christ our king. He came for truth and that was the essence of every word He spoke while here on earth. He gives the key to our heavenly connection with Him, when He says, “Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”

Even though He is not here with us, those of us who are seeking the truth, hear His voice. Here is why I am always telling my friends to throw away Man’s doctrine and seek after the truth.

That’s our connection to Him.

“I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.
However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.
He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.
All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore, I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you. (John 16:12-15)

Please don’t waste your time on doctrine, but seek after truth. Pray and ask Yahshua to reveal the truth to you, He is faithful when it comes to answering that Prayer. I know, because that’s what happened to me. I asked and I was the recipient of that truth. Praise Yahshua, for he lives!

Proverbs 4:2 “For I give you good doctrine: Do not forsake my law.”

The fruit of a false teacher. (wolf in sheep’s clothing)

Matthew 7:15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?
17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.
19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

When we discover what has been stolen from us, by false teacher’s we will be amazed at what Satan Has done, especially through the early Roman Catholic Church. He has built a World-wide religion on the bones of their lies and deceptions.

The wealth of these churches who preach this false doctrine is enormous. And preachers who have been teaching this corrupt doctrine have amassed huge personal fortunes. And perhaps this is why we never hear from them except that there is a plea for money.

Yahshua Tells us that these wolves actually come in sheep’s clothing. So, to the sheep, they do not see wolves, but rather they see one of their own. This is huge. Please… don’t pass over this easily. He said “inwardly” they are ferocious wolves.

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.” (Vs 15)

Ravenous because they will sell your soul for their own riches. Instead of telling us the truth, they preach false doctrine in order to keep us in that pew, and putting money into the coffer. Their greed is astounding! And this is just one way to begin to recognize who and what they are. They Know that the truth is hard to take, and for sinners it will break their hard hearts. So, what they do?

These ravenous wolves teach and preach a sugar-coated gospel that won’t bring anyone to full salvation!

“You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?
Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.
 (Vs 16-18)

The wolf cannot bear good fruit because he does not abide in Yahshua.

“If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.” (John 15:6)

I’m going to make this simple. The fruit we’re looking for is the preaching of YHWH God’s Commandments. so that we can enter the Way of Christ. But where this is omitted, there is Lawlessness, and there is no fruit, no righteousness, and no way to draw near to YHWH God.

Did Yahshua not say, “He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” (Jon 14:21)

Yahshua give us in plain English what God the Father needs in order to have a relationship. There’s our fruit.

But we are told that the Commandments are no longer in effect, by these wolves in sheep’s clothing. Making it impossible for us to be fruitful in YHWH God’s eyes.

The once saved always saved doctrine is taught also, but is totally untrue, but again to make us feel secure in our salvation, when we are not.

And all we need is grace, also untrue.

The rapture doctrine also false.

We are taught to keep traditions that have evolved from Paganism, which are not even mentioned in the Bible.

All of these things are neither scriptural, nor true, and if we lean on them rather than the Word of God, we will see our Savior turn His back on us.

So, the fruit that they bare is Lawlessness, and our death!

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’”
(Vs 21-23)

These wolves’ have sold their souls for riches in the World, but they will never see the Kingdom of Elohim. And as long as we follow them neither will we, for all of us will be judged according to God’s Commandments, and what will we say? What is our defense? I didn’t read my Bible? I didn’t test what I was being taught?

That my friends, is not going to fly, and that is why Yahshua said, “‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice LAWLESSNESS!’”

Shalom my friends,

Chuck Greever
